I bought a charging dock for Controllers for the first time, as I considered this expense unnecessary. However, after purchasing it, it turned out that I made a big mistake.
The convenience that the Sony Charging Station offers for the DualSense cannot be compared to the simple USB-C Cable provided with the PS5.
The fact that I can just close my console, leave the DualSense on the Charging Station, and go without dealing with plug and unplug cables and putting my PS5 in Standby Mode is a huge advantage for me! (It is always charged and ready for the next time I need it)

After 2 months, one of the two controllers stopped charging. The problem was in one of the 4 charging contacts (photo). Both the authorized service and Sony themselves told me that it was due to misuse. Not only was there no misuse (unless we wrongly left the controllers charging on top), but the usage was actually minimal (especially for the second controller). Unfortunately, this particular product proved to be defective.

  Full satisfied with the charging. The design is on another level. Overall beautiful and user-friendly.
  The 4 stars because: I bought this one for better quality even though I could have bought a cheaper one obviously, but I trusted Sony. After 10-15 charges, one of the "teeth" on the back port broke. I sent it for repair and they told me it cannot be fixed. I have called several times, sent numerous emails, and no one from Sony has helped me. I mean, a whole giant company and they can't fix a "tooth"? Their response is that it's not covered by the warranty. Meanwhile, I don't care if I have to pay for it or not. I just want it to be fixed. Really a shame.

  It does what it was designed to do, but it does it even better than its predecessor, the charging station for Dualshock 4. Now you don't have to be Robin Hood to plug in the controller, you simply leave it as if you're leaving it on any surface and it starts charging. It automatically stops once the Dualsense battery is fully charged. A very good quality cable of great length is included in the package because SONY is large. The aesthetic part of it, for me and my taste, is wonderful, minimal and in the same pattern as the console.
