Miles Morales
Miles Morales is the newest Spider-Man in Marvel's New York. After the tragic death of his father, Miles met Peter Parker, who quickly became his friend and mentor. When a genetically modified spider from Oscorp bit Miles, he developed unique powers — and after months of intensive training — Peter agreed to train him.
Miles begins the new chapter of his life in East Harlem, where he faces a whirlwind of new responsibilities: maintaining his friendships, having a politician in the family, and balancing home life with his hero life. As a power struggle threatens to destroy the city, he must take on the role of Spider-Man and make it his own, or everything could be lost.
Rio Morales
Rio Morales is Miles' mother and the frontrunner candidate in the upcoming New York City Council elections. After Miles' father's death, Rio and Miles moved back to East Harlem, where Rio was born and raised.
She is a staunch defender of her beloved community and always looks out for her friends and neighbors. As Roxxon Energy Corporation begins constructing a massive plant in East Harlem, Rio emerges as a community leader, confronting the giant multinational head-on while fighting to preserve her vibrant neighborhood.
Peter Parker
Parker is the original Spider-Man and Morales' mentor. After the traumatic death of Miles' father, Peter arranges for Miles to start volunteer work at F.E.A.S.T., inadvertently starting a chain of events that would give him superpowers comparable only to his own. Since then, Peter has very reluctantly agreed to take Miles under his wing as a new superhero, helping the young hero learn to control his powers and giving him whatever advice he can about life itself. As Peter goes abroad with MJ to cover the Simkaria Peace Negotiations for the Daily Bugle, he will trust Miles to serve the city as the sole Spider-Man until he returns.
Ganki Li
Ganke Lee is Miles Morales' best friend and trusted advisor. Ganke has lived in Harlem his entire life and is a student at Brooklyn Visions Academy, where he works to perfect his skills as a programmer while providing valuable support to Miles. Okay, we know it's small, and all 3 spiders are small. However, it transports you to NY, you feel like you're walking there. Although I prefer the classic spider, Morales is still a good alternative with different abilities. 10 hours for the main story, 20 hours for platinum, you teleport to New York and enjoy quality gaming
The game is very good. It has nice main quests and very fun side quests as well. The only downside is that it is a very short game that you will finish in two days. In terms of graphics, it is also very good and has nice game mechanics. In short, it's worth it.
Simply unreal!!! The story is very nice and the graphics are very good. I finished it in about a week and a half but I really loved it so much that I just want to walk around the city!!! Simply fantastic! I believe that even those who are not particularly fans of Spider Man movies will also enjoy it. The only negative thing is that the story could have been slightly longer to enjoy it more. I highly recommend it!!!!
The game is amazing with the mechanics being very nice and it is a relatively small game that you enjoy every minute of. I recommend it to people who have played the original Spiderman of ps4 and in two days we will also have the next game. It is also a game that you can finish in a weekend.
Graphics: Beautiful and better than the original title. The characters have more details, New York is snowy and more detailed. Despite being a cross-gen title, it is beautiful.
Gameplay: Few changes compared to the first title but still incredibly addictive. The battles are incredibly fast-paced with a variation in Miles' abilities. There are plenty of things to do, although fewer than in the 2018 title. The feeling of web-swinging remains incredible. Nice battles with bosses.
Story: Initially, the game is exactly half of the first one. It connects the two Spider-Men. It has a good story, but much inferior to the original title, the threat is mainly limited to one neighborhood. The characters, due to the game's duration, are less developed. The story will neither disappoint nor impress.
Overall: Of course, it remains a very good game with nice gameplay, good graphics, not long in duration, and with Greek subtitles.
Truly an incredibly good game and a very good continuation of the story of the first Spiderman (2018). 10/10 would recommend it to anyone who wants to play a small but good game. Smaller as a game than the first one but justified by the price.
Positive
Incredible graphics (at times you feel like you're in a movie)
Interesting story in a very nice environment
Nice movements (unlocked when you level up)
You can play it even after finishing (there are things to do)
Negative
Very short duration (more like a DLC of the first part)
The side quests are a bit similar, but you still want to complete them
It's worth the money and it's a game that should be in your collection
Incredible graphics, very nice story. I would have liked a bigger main story, of course, as it ends in less than 10 hours.. nevertheless, 5 stars due to nostalgia
Let's start by saying that it's generally very good. However, just by playing it, it felt more like a DLC for the 2019 Spider-Man rather than an independent title, with gameplay and side quests following the same path as its predecessor. Is it worth it? For those who loved the first one, yes it is worth it, but for others who didn't enjoy the first one, I would say no it's not worth it because it doesn't have significant differences from the first one to give you something more to engage with. I, as a fan, loved it though
Many times I lost in the game because I was staring at the graphics that are really fantastic. It's like watching a movie. Easy gameplay but I tried it on the easiest level because I don't want to struggle, I want to enjoy my time. Some puzzles are challenging but thank goodness for YouTube that shows you the solutions.
Great graphics, awesome sound just like the side quests. But I focused more on the story that is directly connected to the first Spider-Man. Morales is deserving to be alongside Parker and also the character development of Morales and Phin Mason is very nice. We are looking forward to the sequel of the first Spider-Man where we will have both Spider-Man...!!!
GRAPHICARES may be one of the TOP graphics for PS5 games with an amazing story, sound, and scenario, but... the game is short, only 4 days of 3-4 hours, and it leaves you with the nostalgia of wanting more. However, in my opinion, this is not a reason to deprive it of a 5-star rating!
Very good progress from the first title, which was already awesome. Improved graphics and action scenes that truly drop jaws. Similar gameplay that is quite good and the story is interesting and never boring. The Amazing level before the difficult one is just right, it's not a hard game especially if you get familiar with the controls, so if I start again I'll go for the next level. Fast travel is instant. The duration is just right so as not to tire you out and there are other things to do if you want to spend hours either as completionists or in new game plus. A Spider-Man game from Insomniac that never disappoints!
Opticoacoustic is a masterpiece. The Christmas atmosphere of New York combined with the festive period in which I played it made you feel literally in the game. From there on, the game follows the same footsteps as its predecessor and offers pure entertainment and pleasure to all Spiderman fans and not only.
I only have two negative points to mention:
First, of course, its price, as even now at €40, I consider it quite expensive for such a short adventure, although the endgame has something to offer for those who want to continue it. Secondly, the classic, overplayed, sugary story that would have been fine if it had some decent villains.
Personally, I didn't go crazy about the Tinkerer (who became "the" Tinkerer) and Prowler!
Anyway, in general, as soon as the price drops a little more, it's a must just for the figures while web-slinging in Manhattan!
Graphics
It's incredible, especially for starting on the new console, with RT performance, Ray tracing on, and 60 fps.
Gameplay
Similar to the previous one, but with some added features due to Miles' abilities, and the mix of his powers is fantastic and enjoyable.
Sound
Exceptional sound quality, especially if you're using headphones.
Story
Very interesting and beautiful, but falls short compared to the previous title. However, it's still very good, and the Christmas atmosphere makes it even more beautiful.
Negatives
The story feels like more of a DLC for the previous title than its own game. Side quests are also few, making it easy to finish quickly.
Price
After a year, I think a price of around €25-€30 is good. I don't think it's worth more than €40, not because it's not good, but because it's too short, unless someone doesn't mind.
Overall, it's an excellent game that you should have in your collection and play because it's truly wonderful.
The Main Story takes around 8 hours to complete, and if you want to do everything, it's around 18 hours. It's short in duration and that's the only negative aspect of it.
2. The graphics are truly Next Gen. The snowy New York City, the Cinematics, the battle scenes, the incredible detail in murals, laboratories, battle shelters, clothes, etc. Wherever you look, you can see the endless hours of work put in by the game's creators.
3. The soundtrack is very nice, whether you're swinging through the city, in battles, or in Cinematics. The Voice Acting is also exceptional, both in emotion and color, as well as in the very good Lip Sync.
4. The gameplay is just as excellent as the previous Spiderman, with some additions and improvements.
5. Nice Story, somewhat predictable, but not at all boring.
6. Missions are similar to the previous Spiderman, in terms of style, just in different environments.
The game is A-MA-ZING in technical terms and you feel like you're really watching a Blockbuster movie. Its duration is short, but it's definitely worth getting for up to 30€ and, due to its quality, I gave it 5 Stars instead of 4.
The graphics are great, I don't know if you're a fan or not, I reached 24% and got bored, the battlefield looks cheap many times, I expected better plot and sound. If you find it for 20-25 euros, yes, try it just for the graphics and nothing else.
A good, short game. It doesn't have significant differences from the previous game in the series. Certainly, it's not worth its price. Nevertheless, if its price drops, it's worth trying.
Having played the first Spiderman game, this one is superior in all aspects except for its short duration. I really enjoyed the story and it reminded me of a movie. Graphics and sound are both 10/10
So, as I write this review, I am at 99% completion of the game with 18 hours of pure gameplay! Let me just say it now and get it out of the way - both Insomniac's Spider-Man games, but especially Miles Morales, are the epitome of a videogame. I was never bored for a moment. What can I say? The AMAZING swinging, made even more EPIC with the Dualsense? The graphics? I played it on a 2020 LD OLED CX in 4K mode with Ray Tracing at 60 FPS and the result was unbelievable!!! The lighting, reflections, colors - everything screams NEXT GEN! Miles, although a bit indifferent in the first game, won me over in this one, to the point where I want to see him in the sequel! He may not be my preferred Spider-Man, but he's good enough. The combat system is fantastic. Better than the first game, or if you prefer, more complete with Miles' new abilities. The story is by far better than the recent Marvel movies. The only negative I can find is the length compared to the price, as I mentioned earlier, I'm at 18 hours and I have almost everything! 99% to be exact! From me, it's a BUY WITH CLOSED EYES, so you can enjoy one of the few games that truly serve their purpose to the fullest!
P.S. And to wrap it up, for those who are interested, I have a YouTube channel where we review TV shows, movies, and videogames. If you want, you can check it out and see if you like the content we produce! Our channel is called UnpopularOpinion.GR!
The first one is much better, no question about it... The second one is very average and I got bored quickly... I'm trying to find the motivation to finish it.
If you have played the first Spiderman and liked it, you should buy this one blindly! You will never feel like you are playing the same game as before. It has taken the recipe of the first game and evolved it in all areas. However, I give it 4 stars because in my opinion, the first game had a better story (maybe because it was longer), but that doesn't mean this one doesn't deserve its story.
To begin with, I have to say that I am one of those who only play the story without side quests. I have to say that it has exceptional graphics and sound, and the dual sense is more than worth it with its fantastic sensation... I give it 4 stars only because the story was too short, I finished it in one day
I give it a 4 because it has a very short Story, but it does have plenty of sidequests that have greatly improved. As for the Story itself, it's very nice and the gameplay is also great. The graphics are amazing compared to other games. I didn't find any other drawbacks.
For those who say it's only about frame rates!!!!!! The game is a good introduction to the next gen, the graphics are incredible, reflections on windows, streets, everything has crystal clear detail as if we weren't playing 4K before. The beautiful thing is that everything has detail in quantity, meaning that the alleys have 50 people with full details and the whole experience is smooth. I liked the story more than the sweetened spiderman and miles, while keeping the same elements, is more accessible. Of course, its short duration is an issue. If you're not in a hurry to see what the machine can do, it's only 40€
