  I got it for my work Laptop Lenovo L15, where I need 2 external monitors. A Dell 24" as the 1st monitor through the Laptop's HDMI port and a Samsung 27" as the 2nd monitor through the adapter.
  The only peculiarity it has is that when you enter Windows, you will need to momentarily disconnect the cable from the adapter to see the screen, but I consider it a negligible issue.
