It entered a village in Lefkada that normally has an external antenna but many problems with the signal. The state channels were hardly received at all and the rest had random "breaks" in the signal. I placed the amplifier inside the house and not on the mast, and while at first it seemed to improve the situation, it later broke down definitively. In the end, it did not strengthen the signal.
Anyone who has problems with Digea like I do in Stavros, Thessaloniki, should get this and the signal will improve a lot. This particular village is on the edge of the Thassos transmitter and it performs surprisingly well. I watch television for most of the day and the picture is clear compared to only seeing it for a few hours before. However, there are small time intervals when the signal is lost, but that is due to the distance from the transmitter. It has two outputs for two televisions; if you connect three like I did with a splitter, the third one will not work well or at all. I combined it with a high-gain (15db) algorithmic antenna. Very satisfied, I didn't expect it to be this good to be honest, and with good reason because I am an experienced electronics technician.
It was installed in Zagorochoria Ioannina. Very good.. Digea broadcasting center Asprangeloi .. about 25 km away with obstacles in front (construction). I had a problem with the state channels, they didn't work at all.. and all the others had interruptions. Now everything is fine.. We'll see if it will withstand the test of time.
If you lose the image for a few hours while the TV is playing glass almost all day, it is definitely due to interference from mobile or satellite interference. I was ready to throw away the TV. This one has filters up to 5G and solved my problem... Perfect
Very good amplifier. It does what it says. I mounted it on an external corner base, in combination with the Matel 5g antenna, I did an automatic search on the TV and voila (44 channels). No adjustment or anything!
Area: Eastern Mani
Digea broadcasting center for Eastern Mani
Reichia and Kythira
Distance from broadcasting center, 57-60 km
Antenna cables, 30 meters
TV antenna:
Matel 5g External TV Antenna
In an area in Southern Pelion that is outside the digea signal, I managed to capture 100% power and signal quality through a mountain gap from Evia. What else can I say. I combined it with a televes antenna and Vector Sat+ 140 cable as recommended by someone else here in the reviews. I think it's the best. Also, get the accessories needed for cable connection.
The amplifier is indeed very good. In Corinth, in a house with 4 televisions in a row on the digea channels, it gave me a signal from 45% to 78% and replaced an ikousi amplifier with a televes antenna, so I consider the result very satisfactory. Now the freezing on digea's HD channels has stopped and it also has a 5G filter, all good. The only negative for me is that although the amplifier's door has a blue LED indicator inside, it is not visible because it is closed, but I solved it by opening a small hole in the plastic
For the Greek Far West, it is the ultimate weapon, but it also performs admirably as a central one, simplifying installation. And the potentiometer listens well. I vote in favor.
Amazing, I am in a difficult area with mountains all around and it picked up 52 channels, while with the old one that I had paid more for, I only got 38 clear channels without any interruptions. I recommend it to everyone who wants to change their amplifier.
Powerful amplifier, installed on a small remote island along with the Televes V Zenit 5G LTE UHF antenna and the result is impeccable. It picked up over 40 TV & Radio channels and everything plays flawlessly without any interruptions, even in bad weather conditions like rain, etc. Definitely worth its money.
Very good, it does exactly what it promises. It solved the signal reception problem in a difficult area. It was exactly what I expected. I highly recommend it without hesitation
Very good amplifier. I live in a village with very poor reception. The cable from the antenna mast to the television is about 30 meters long and does not affect the antenna's performance at all. I highly recommend it.
I live in a difficult area 25 kilometers away from the city and with a mountain obstacle between us. I bought this amplifier and a new 16db antenna for 20-25 euros. The power and quality of the channels reached 90-100%, perfect! Besides that, I also caught many other channels that I couldn't catch at all with the old amplifier and antenna. The cable I use from the amplifier's output to the splitter/power supply is made of pure copper. [Vector Sat+ 140] surely has significance as well. I recommend this amplifier to everyone, it is very good.
Excellent amplifier, very powerful. I live in an area with weak signal (Thrakomakedones, where Mount Parnitha hides Mount Hymettus). The antenna output is around 58dbμV on Alpha HD. The amplifier boosts it to around 105. So, the signal interruptions I had when it was cloudy/raining disappeared. I think there is no stronger amplifier available in the market.
Powerful amplifier indeed!
It easily supports 4 televisions with a cable length of 40m from the amplifier to its power supply.
However, after about 2 years, the contact of the potentiometer rusted and caused interference, meaning image disruptions.
For now, it was saved with a makeshift solution!
For areas with weak signal and if multiple devices are to be connected, it is definitely worth it.
And it's made in Greece!
Amazing amplifier, I live in an area with low signal (98 kilometers). The 40db do their job, I set it up with a 15db antenna and everything works perfectly. Get it with your eyes closed
