It does not distort the colors at all on 99% of the screen, nor does it affect its functionality. The only downside is that because the protection is slightly smaller than the screen in order to fit, it causes some distortion on the edges of the screen, as shown in the last photo, which is more noticeable in some watchfaces and less in others.
