The endeavor of compiling a work about the life of Saint Phanourios, especially due to the occasional inclusion of many inaccurate elements surrounding the Saint's persona, would not be an easy task. Therefore, the author's strenuous effort to gather cross-referenced historical information, beyond what is included in the already existing published editions, which Fr. Ioannis utilized with a critical approach and painstaking effort, constitutes a significant contribution, offering us this edition.
