In this companion tale to the bestselling A Court of Thorns and Roses series, Feyre, Rhys and their friends are working to rebuild the Night Court and the vastly changed world beyond after the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin.
But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated - scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.

This is the novella of the series that follows the main ACOTAR trilogy in reading. I want to note that I liked it very, very much and I needed it after the intense war with Hybern! However, I would only recommend it to those who loved the series. The novella follows the period of peace after the war and the lives of each member of the Night Court's close circle, as well as the "marks" that the war left on them. It talks about the celebration of the Solstice and how the characters of the circle evolve, as well as the relationships between them, while being a step before you read A Court of Silver Flames. If you loved the series, I definitely recommend you read it, and I hope it takes you on a journey!
