Very nice idea for a child to start familiarizing themselves with writing, both in terms of pencil handling and visual stimulation. Tracing is a very old concept, I had it when I was a child in the early '90s. The only thing I don't like about the modern implementation is the laminated paper and binding. I prefer the old, good plain paper and spiral binding.
