I got it because the whole group is a fan of Marvel + card games. It's nice and definitely worth the money. In the game, each player plays a hero with a deck that can be modified to change how the hero plays. All players play together against a villain whose deck and difficulty can change. It plays well and doesn't feel like a cash grab. There are sites to find ideas for decks. I will mention the negatives that didn't affect the group overall, but might affect someone else. There are many expansions with heroes and villains, and more keep coming out. For a complete experience for 4 players, you will definitely need expansions to create "good" decks. The base game is very good for 2, okay for 3, and almost impossible for 4. Also, for new villains, you again need expansions. Overall, I would say it's a must for Marvel + card game fans, but also more expensive than it seems and requires quite a bit of searching to get its value if you want. The reason I took away 1 star is that in the end, the base game is not a complete experience for 4, while it could easily be with a few more cards.
It's worth its money. One of the most entertaining tabletop deck builder games I have played. You can enjoy it alone or with a group. It has many expansions if you want to complete it with every possible scenario, but it generally takes time and patience. Each game varies in length, I have managed to finish it within an hour, but I have also had games that lasted 3+ hours. The only downside is that the rules require practice until you get into the groove.
The cards are well-made and beautiful. It can be played by 1-4 players, but ideally 1-2. It has many similarities with FFG's previous LCGs, but comparatively it is easier to learn. You don't need hours of theoretical thinking to build a deck. It has much more content as a core set, and personally, I prefer the superhero theme over the others.
I don't remember the last time I was so addicted to a Board Game. It has a total of 5 heroes (Spiderman, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Black Panther, She-Hulk) and 3 enemies (Rhino, Ultron, Klaw), but there are also expansions available with others. It can be played with up to 4 players, but it's ideal for 2.
With the total of 400 cards that the box includes, you create decks with scenarios where your goal is to prevent a villain's plan while also trying to avoid their attacks. It might be overwhelming at first because there are many actions and strategies, but the rulebooks are understandable, the initial decks for the first games come pre-made, and finally, 1-2 videos on YouTube solve all the doubts, for example, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1My1sHYgEQg
It's a crazy addiction, it makes you want to play scenarios even by yourself.
