I had cystic acne that left me with red and brown marks as well as scars. I use this serum in combination with La Roche-Posay Effaclar Micro-Peeling facial cleanser, and I can say that I have seen a difference. The marks have significantly faded and the scars are smoother. Of course, the imperfections have not completely disappeared, but the difference is clear. I will definitely continue to purchase it for a long time!
I bought it because I read the reviews and they said it helped them a lot with pimples and oiliness... When I started using it, after 4-5 days, I didn't see any difference! On the contrary, the pimples were getting worse! With each application, I felt a burning sensation in the area where I applied it and it caused intense dryness in the T-zone, where I have oiliness!

It has helped me a lot and my marks have healed to a great extent but not completely. The skin is very soft the next day and gives you a feeling of cleanliness whenever you wear it and for days. The price might have made me think twice for such a small product, but it rewards you, plus this bottle will last for months because you don't need a large amount. I highly recommend it!

I got it somewhat randomly to apply at night after washing my face and dealing with oily skin, mild acne, and blackheads. It helped me a lot with everything, especially with blackheads - they disappeared.
I have been using this serum successfully for three years now on a daily basis!
31-year-old male with combination-oily skin prone to acne, which has experienced severe acne during adolescence.
The results for me (in chronological order):
1) Significantly cleared my pores.
2) Tightened my pores, which no longer look like "craters on the moon."
3) Cleared small (and large) pimples.
4) Cleared old acne scars-marks.
5) Smoothened my skin (when I wash my face, my fingers glide on the skin instead of feeling the rough texture of imperfections).
6) Exfoliation has tightened my skin and almost eliminated every fine line-wrinkle. (My forehead looks ironed.)
7) Effectively prevents acne and treats it within one to two days. (Observing myself since the age of 13, I have noticed that sugar mainly triggers my acne.)

I started using it very cautiously to easily get accustomed to it with minimal "side effects" and irritations.
During the first week, I used it only once (it was the first and only time I felt a tingling sensation from the acids).
During the second week, I used it twice, and I continued increasing its usage by one day each week until I reached daily use.
Attention! I do NOT use and SHOULD NOT use anything "mechanical," such as facial scrubs.
When I wash my face (morning-evening), I pat-dry my face! I do not rub the towel on my skin. This will cause irritations and affect the skin barrier.
In the evening, I wash my face twice. The first time, I use a little soap (toleriane foaming double cleanser), which removes the initial heavy oiliness, daily dirt, and sunscreen. Then, the second cleanse is the deep and effective one, creating a rich lather.
Afterward, I apply the serum (three drops, forehead and cheeks) by patting it on my face only when my skin is COMPLETELY DRY! This reduces irritations.
(When the skin is damp, it absorbs the products more deeply, and in this case, the acids may cause problems. Also, I have noticed that patting application, as opposed to the classic spreading-rubbing, yields much better results for me.)
Sunscreen every day, rain or shine!!! I don't particularly like using it, but it is the most important of all! Besides protecting the skin when applied, it helps in the following way: since the skin doesn't have to deal with the harmful effects of radiation, it has time to focus on other things like regeneration, healing, collagen production, elastin, etc.
Also, it is important to note that it is not like we just got a product and expect miracles. We need to observe ourselves. For example, someone's skin may not like one of the ingredients in the product. Even I, if I see that my skin is irritated (I easily get red in the sun despite having a darker complexion), I will not use it for one or two nights.

The BEST SERUM for acne by far.
I had a problem with acne for 2-3 years which left me with some marks on my cheeks.
Since I started using this product on a daily basis, my skin has changed 100%.

Very shortly after I started using it, I saw a difference in my face, it became smoother and more radiant. After 2 months of use, my face is now clean (and I hadn't seen it like this in years)!
Use on acne-prone skin. At first, it creates redness on the skin, but without irritation. After a short time, it subsides and leaves the skin soft. I use it at night and 1-2 times a week. The next day, the skin is radiant, smooth, and even! Sometimes I apply it locally on pimples and it removes them in two uses. It is a fantastic product that works and has visible results!
Mixed skin with acne for 15 years due to polycystic ovary syndrome. I use creams with 1.8% tretinoin (while Airol has a concentration of 0.05% for you to understand) and I have never had any issues. I have tried everything, all heavy exfoliants, and they all did their job. However, this product caused a burn on my face that lasted for 3 days, it felt like I had been sunburned. I tried it on my back to see if anything would change, but I had the same result. While I search a lot for products, I refuse to use this one. I won't even give it to someone else, I'll just throw it away.
It really worth every €. In the first days of use, it brings out all the pimples-pores of the skin and then eliminates them. It combines very nicely with the effaclar duo plus. It needs something slightly moisturizing on top, I think, to avoid dryness, and always sunscreen in the morning.

I consider it a product with controversial effectiveness. Personally, I have acne-prone skin and have tried many creams and serums. I can't say that this particular one did anything, so after three weeks, I stopped using it. It has the characteristic scent of the effaclar line and the salicylic acid is noticeable on the skin. I recommend using it with a doctor's advice, although I don't think it would be the first thing a dermatologist would recommend.
Judging purely based on my experience, as skincare products vary from skin to skin, this particular product is the most miraculous ever. Within a month, it eliminated all the acne I had on my neck and face, and I wonder why I didn't discover it earlier. If you have severe acne and need something with heavy ingredients, I highly recommend it.
Tip: Make sure to also get the turquoise La Roche Gel Effaclar Face And Body Micro-Peeling Purifying Wash to cleanse your face morning and night before applying it.
P.S.: Some people said that it dries out the skin, but I, who have oily skin, didn't encounter any issues, nor did I need to put any moisturizer on top! I also read comments saying that it burns the skin in the sun. During the winter, I didn't experience any issues when I went outside, but I will observe if anything happens during the summer. However, it goes without saying that we should also apply facial sunscreen before sun exposure for photoaging!
It is one of the best and most ideal products for oily acne-prone skin! I bought it for my partner and it has helped in clearing up acne and smoothing the skin. If someone has sensitive skin, it would be good to get a sample and try it before purchasing as it may cause irritation. In the morning, ALWAYS use sunscreen or at least the Effaclar range cream with SPF30.

The first few days I couldn't see. Crazy difference in my pimples as soon as I put it on, it started to sting and I thought it was doing its job.
