  I work in a cleaning crew (houses in winter, boats in summer) so I wanted a partially waterproof option which this particular pair of shorts ultimately provides. It's not suitable for a lot of movement as it is stiff; for example, I would never recommend it to a plumber/electrician/mechanic!

  However, for a phone and 1-2 small tools, the pockets are just right. It dries very easily; if you wash it late at night and work early in the morning, it will definitely be dry, especially now in summer. I don't mind getting wet since I wash with a hose or pressure washer as it dries in a few minutes even if you're not in the sun!

  Finally, if you sweat a lot like I do, it doesn't smell easily, only after 5 days of continuous use do the white marks from dried sweat around the waist start to show, so at that point, a wash is necessary! You can comfortably wear it for 4-5 days in a row and just air it out on the balcony, and it will be just fine.

  Update (1.5 months of use): I hand wash it, but unfortunately, it fades easily like most dark clothes.

  Good fabric quality but I want to mention 2 significant flaws of the Pentagon. Firstly, mediocre stitching. I bought 2 shorts and they had unraveling seams above the side pocket. Okay, the seamstress fixed the problem for €2, but you wonder why it happens in the first place. Secondly, the phone pocket is cleverly designed, but not clever to place it in that spot. When you climb stairs or uphill, you feel the phone pressing against your thigh and it's very uncomfortable. I don't know if I will buy them again.

  WARNING though about the size, the size chart is not correct, meaning I ordered size 50 because the chart says it is for a diameter of 100 centimeters. However, the size 50 shorts actually have a diameter of 106 centimeters, resulting in me having to exchange them and pay for shipping again, even though it wasn't my mistake. For this reason, I suggest before you order, ask them to measure the shorts for you so that you get the correct size.
