It is not suitable for small aquariums, it causes a lot of disturbance and because it is the cheap version, it does not have adjustment. It is not quieter in terms of noise, but it's okay. It's worth going for the slightly more expensive option.

Update: I bought a small flow regulator for 1 euro and reduced the flow, so now it does its job perfectly.

Flawless completely silent value for money, I have also placed a dish sponge underneath for extra shock insulation. The provided non-return valve easily comes off in two pieces, but with a two-component epoxy adhesive it does its job perfectly. Without this valve, in case of power outage, the water flows slowly from the bottom of the pump and it's good for sponging. If you have an aquarium cabinet and the air stone doesn't start producing bubbles after turning off and on the pump, simply place it on a higher shelf since its performance is limited to 50-60 inches in height
