On the first day of my period, I enthusiastically did all my outdoor chores in the morning and the pad didn't bother me at all... this lasted for 4 hours... then I had my first leak... okay, I thought that was normal... from then on, as my flow became heavier (I have a very heavy flow), there were constant leaks at night, and I had to change it 3 times... I was definitely putting it on correctly; I tried all the methods and watched all the videos...
Maybe I will use it on days with lighter flow... but I was disappointed!
I got the large size.
I also noticed that as soon as I put it on, I had more intense pain in my stomach that lasted a little while, of course
I will say it's a lifesaver and I wonder how I lived before this!! You need 2 sizes, the large for the first few days and the small for the rest, and you won't need to use anything else during your period!
One of the best investments I've made. I highly recommend it from the first use. Even during intense sports activities, like basketball, it stays secure without any leaks. The best!! 1000/10
Wear a panty liner because until you get used to it, you might have leaks. I still haven't figured it out, but it's convenient. Watch the video on how to put it on
The best solution for the period. You can swim, you can sleep all night without any leaks, you wear it for 12 hours so it’s very convenient as you can spend your whole day either outside or at work without needing to empty it. It’s very comfortable, it doesn’t hurt. It’s super clean, you feel clean and dry all the time. The placement is very easy as this one (compared to the satisfyer I had before) has the perfect silicone, which doesn’t hurt during placement but opens easily in the vagina. I highly recommend it to everyone. I hope it starts to become more widely known and recommended by doctors. (Also, if you have a health issue related to your period, like anemia, and need to know how much blood you’re losing to mention it to your doctors, it’s very easy to understand as the cup has a measuring scale on top.)
It was the first cup I tried. It's very convenient, as long as you don't mind putting in a little.... hand. I cut off all the excess little part, it bothered me. I have given birth to 2 children naturally and I probably have quite a heavy flow (with pads all these years I hadn't realized such a thing, it's not like I was changing crazy amounts), because on the 2nd and 3rd day I empty it every 3 hours and despite that, if I don't wear a pad, I get messy.
I have gotten used to it, though, I like that I don't have that wet feeling and especially at night I have been saved. And at the beach, it's very convenient, it's like I'm not on my period (At the beach, I used to wear tampons and when I got out, I wanted to go change).
For the days with lighter flow, it's just fine, but I will also try a larger one from another company to see if I can solve my technical issues.
What did I do all these years without it:
It really saved me, I went on vacation and took my baths normally, walks from the first day of my period. I recommend it to everyone to try it!
Sometimes it fits perfectly and I have no leaks...
Other times, I realize that I didn't put it on properly, so I try again... However, I often feel unsure when I use a pad. Therefore, I don't save as much money and I also have the inconvenience of using a pad.
But the worst part is that I feel like it makes me bleed more because it feels like it's suctioning and sucking me in
I simply wonder why I didn't buy it earlier. I have used it for 2 cycles and it has helped me incredibly!! I even went swimming in the sea during my period and everything was fine. The installation was easy for me from the first moment. I always wear a small pad to feel more secure and everything is perfect!!! I bought the larger size because I have had 3 natural births. You literally forget that you have your period... Buy it yesterday!!!
The cup is very convenient... If you have issues with pads, you should try it. I got size B due to vaginal birth. It took me 1-2 days to get used to it. At first, I had a few drops of blood, then nothing! It caused me pain, but then I understood the correct position and angle, and everything was fine! I recommend trying it. If it suits you, it will save you...
Update 20.06.2024
After a year of use, I have to say that because the silicone has softened, it may cause leaks (it does for me). On heavier flow days, I have some drops. However, I still don't compare it to anything else and of course I still recommend it. I may need to buy it again. Even economically, it is incomparable to pads and tampons.
I have been using it for several months now and honestly, you forget that you have your period. The use and placement were easy for me from the first moment, but I know that for some there is a little difficulty at the beginning. It really is worth persisting. At work, on vacation, in the bathroom, I am truly carefree!
I bought the small size 5 years ago as I had minimal flow and I was completely satisfied for at least 2 years. After 2 years, every time I used it, I had intense stomach pain which immediately went away as soon as I removed it. I never found out what was causing it and simply stopped using it. Now that I have given birth, I will try the larger size and will update!
The best thing ever! If placed correctly, there is no leakage and you don't even realize you're wearing it. Although I don't have heavy flow, I got size B due to a normal delivery as stated in the instructions. Never again pads, I've been saved! You truly forget that you have your period, it feels very comfortable. The placement method that suits me is type C (half-moon), it opens and fits directly on me, the second placement method like a "triangle" doesn't open easily and there are leaks, of course this is different for every woman. Give yourself time to find the placement method that suits you, then it will be a matter of minutes!
The product is a lifesaver, it no longer bothers me at all. I don't know about other women, but it doesn't stress me out at all to put it on or even feel it when I wear it (maybe only the first time). It would probably be more convenient for me to have a slightly larger grip for even easier removal.
I wonder why gynecologists don't teach girls about it... finally progress!!! And I was afraid of it for many years... but I read, got informed, and decided to try it... WHAT HAVE I BEEN MISSING ALL THESE YEARS??? Cleanliness!!!! The application, if you were wearing a tampon before, is almost the same.
As an idea, it is very good, however, I have difficulties in opening and operating the cup correctly. It is the first period cycle that I am using it and I have had several accidents. I will come back in the future because they say that it takes some cycles to learn how to use it correctly.
** Update **
Probably the size is too big for me. I got size B because I have a heavy cycle, but because of this, it cannot open easily and as a result, I have leaks.
One of the best purchases I have made! Honestly, when I am in the difficult days of the month, only the classic pain reminds me of it. Incredible comfort ️
But for its proper use, you cannot be princesses who hate everything. You must be comfortable with your body and whatever happens to it during your period. Dare to try it for sure!! ️
Correct as an idea. It needs a liner together, because it is very difficult to learn how to put it on, it takes time and training and until then it leaks... It helps if you use vaginal lubricant, for the first time for the correct placement.
I don't know why no one has told us about the period cup earlier! If you try it once, you will NOT go back to pads and tampons! It definitely takes some time to adjust and find the way that suits you to put it in and take it out, and of course, you have to follow the washing and sterilization instructions faithfully.
A useful product. It takes one or two applications to find it, but afterwards you don't realize you're wearing it. It has minimal leaks. A pantyliner might help. Overall, it is very convenient and doesn't restrict you in terms of clothing! I recommend it.
It requires practice to use. Depending on the flow, it may require more frequent changes to avoid leaks, especially at night. It felt harder compared to a previous one I had from a different company.
Very good. Before this, I had the meluna and I will probably go back to it. My problem with the organic cup is that it is too hard and I have difficulty removing it easily, unlike the old one I used. However, I think it has fewer leaks. No comparison to pads and tampons... I have abandoned those for months now... just don't even think about it...
Excellent product, healthy for the vagina, economical and ecological. It is the first cycle that I use it and I already feel very comfortable even though the first time I put it on it was quite uncomfortable and I still have a little pain during insertion and removal, but nothing unbearable. I have no leaks at all, not even at night, and I don't even feel the need to combine it with a pad. The only thing you need to be careful about is the sizes. Even though I am under 18 without having had a natural childbirth, I had to get size B because I have a very heavy period, but even with size B, I still need to change it more frequently than every 12 hours during the first few days. Despite that, the size chart of organicup had recommended size A to me, but it turned out to be wrong. I would not recommend this product to women with a low cervix as it has a long length. You definitely need to think about where in your vagina it would be more convenient for you to place it and calculate it with the length of the cup and the distance of your cervix. Before purchasing, check the organicup website to get information about the cups and not the pharmacies because they have incorrect measurements. ♡
The best product for the period!!! It does not contain fragrances, dyes, plastics. It is healthy for the area and protects you from leaks, unpleasant odors, and the uncomfortable feeling you have with pads or tampons. You can wear whatever clothes you want, do any activity you want, sleep in any position that suits you, and generally move comfortably throughout your day and even when you are at home!! You literally forget that you have your period!! Depending on the flow, you can wear it for up to 12 hours!
It takes about 2-3 months to get used to how to place and remove it. There are helpful videos on the official website on how to use it, as well as many more on YouTube and articles on the internet. Honestly, after trying it, I will never use pads or any other feminine hygiene product again! Also, you buy it once and can use it for years, so you save money + you protect the environment as it is an eco-friendly product!
This company gives you the opportunity to request a size change (they send you a new one, obviously, as they are not returnable) within 90 days from the date of receipt, and often offers a buy one get one free deal, either to have a spare or to buy it together with a friend. Personally, I haven't needed the spare, but at some point when I will be away from home for many hours, it might come in handy.
I cannot express how satisfied I am that these cups are available in the market and how lucky I feel to be using it! I have been using it for about a year and I highly recommend it!
P.S. Whoever uses it for the first time should carefully read the instructions to make sure it is placed correctly! When you wear it, you should not feel it at all! Give yourself time to get used to the new process and over time, you will become better at it! Keep an open mind about changing sizes!
Very good product! One of the highest quality menstrual cups available on the market. I am 33 years old without children and I have both sizes (A and B) and they both fit me perfectly, so don't be afraid to choose the size because they are very soft and elastic. I use the larger one on heavy flow days and the smaller one on all other days. I highly recommend them and I have also received approval from my gynecologist. It takes a little practice to gain the technique of inserting and removing it easily and quickly, but it is worth the effort.
I am very happy that I discovered it. It makes the days of my period very easy, it goes in easily and there are no leaks. No more stress at work, it keeps you clean and the changes required are 3 to 4 on heavy days within a 24-hour period. I have recommended it to every woman I know.
