Very good console I have to say it is my first and for its price I believe it is worth the €250 Where I got it is the right console for someone to start learning and then play in shops and a bit more professionally I have had it for about five months and I have to say that it has covered me I work with Serato Lite and I have also played with Virtual DJ and both programs respond very well with the console I have played in cafes bars large events and in clubs and I have to say that if you know how to use it you can play very well it has quite good build quality and the screens help it is worth the money and it is the right console for someone to start or to upgrade from something smaller

HOWEVER...FOR STEMS YOU NEED A HEAVY LAPTOP with a good graphics card or PREPARE THE DAY BEFORE AND STORE THE SONGS with STEMS AND DEACTIVATE THEM DURING THE LIVE.....otherwise the laptop will freeze....for the money, the top console today!!!

The build quality is quite good. However, there are a few minor drawbacks. One of them is the limited availability of ports (mainly the XLR), but you don't expect much more in this category. You can easily use RCA to XLR adapters. Additionally, the software that comes with it (Serato DJ Lite) would have been better off not included at all. However, it works flawlessly with Virtual DJ, but if you often use stems, you will need a fairly powerful laptop if you want live stems. Overall, it is an excellent console for beginner DJs.

When I got it, I tried Serato for three months, and I have a powerful PC. Anyone who remembers what we used to say about Windows Vista, the same applies to Serato for me. Virtual DJ works flawlessly as if it's not even there. I found the console on sale for 235 and I immediately bought it, and I have no regrets. It easily competes with other consoles that cost 600 euros.

As the successor to the previous model, Numark Mixtrack Pro 3 from 2015, I purchased the next model, the brand new Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX, in 2020. I have been using it for professional purposes (bars and clubs) for 2 years now and I have been quite satisfied with the features it offers for its price and its ease of use. The only downside is the program it comes with, which is in contrast to its competitors such as the Pioneer DDJ-400, which comes with Rekordbox DJ, a comprehensive program compared to Serato DJ Lite that comes with this specific console, which has several shortcomings compared to Serato DJ Pro!

Regarding the console's usage and the fact that everything works perfectly, you have heard it before and I don't think I need to say anything else. The only thing that bothered me was that it didn't come with a complete program, only Serato LITE, which I found somewhat difficult to use, so I had to find a cracked version of Virtual DJ 2021, which was a bit of a hassle.

Did you find this review helpful?I have been playing music for many years with the Pioneer cdj-500S (with CDs). I wanted to get my first DJ Controller and I bought the small Numark, the Party Mix, which is excellent for its price. However, it limits you to what you can do.
After a lot of research and seeing/reading many reviews, I was torn between the very good but old Pioneer SB3, the new (at the time) Hercules inpulse 300, and the new (at the time) Numark Platinum FX.
In the end, I bought the Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX and I am really lucky that I made this choice. It is top quality for the money and in this category. They say it in all the reviews. Its size is ideal. Not too big but not too small.
The major advantages it has over other controllers in its category are:
- The large jog wheels. The largest in the category. Very high quality with perfect response. As they say in the reviews, they are a bit heavy for those who like scratching, but something you get used to over time.
- The screen in the center of each jog wheel. It shows you the absolute essentials and if you know your songs well, you don't need to look at the computer screen almost at all. A big advantage as it gives you time to focus on your DJ set.
- The song speed selector (BPM) is the largest in the category by far. It is so big that it greatly facilitates selecting the right song speed.
- The central part with the effects. It gives a professional tone to the controller. Truly, after a while of getting used to the function of the effects with the pads, there is no comparison to any other controller in this matter, not only in this category but even in the higher categories. The creativity that the pad effects give you is tremendous, fast, and easy.
Overall, the controller is an excellent choice. The best in its category for sure. Once someone learns to play well with this controller, I don't think there is a reason to get a controller from a higher category. It comes with the free Serato DJ lite, with which you can play more than decently. You will need around €100 if you want to buy the full version of Serato DJ Pro, which unlocks many more capabilities. If you have patience, you might find the full version of Serato on sale for half the price on a black Friday (I'm also waiting for that).
