I bought them for 199 euros. I use them every day walking to and from work on a busy avenue and I am extremely satisfied. Sound quality and excellent noise cancelling without being heavy at all!
Noise cancelling that you can't believe is possible until you see it in action in very noisy environments. It's like changing your surroundings
1 year after purchasing them, I have the following to state. If they broke tomorrow, I would buy them again 3 times to avoid running out. The price is not negligible, but when you use them for a few days, you justify your choice. Excellent noise cancelling even while listening to podcasts on the subway, sound quality is very, very good, and a nice large soundstage, bass is measured as it should be, we need to be done with bass that breaks eardrums. I haven't tried them with a cable, only Bluetooth with iPhone and PC. The battery is also very good, it lasts quite a while. It has various smart features, maybe I wanted more freedom in customizing the app for control gestures. In the summer, you sweat quite a bit wearing them, but it's reasonable for large closed-type headphones to happen.
P.S. Regardless of these specific headphones, in general, it is not recommended to wear closed-type headphones for long periods in high temperatures, as bacteria can develop and you may suffer from ear infections in the summer.
Very good sound, lightweight headphones do not tire your ears. Bass, mids, and highs are very good. The microphone is perfect, you sound very clear. The sound isolation is excellent. Battery life is very good. They come with their case and the charging cable and the headphone cable (3.5mm jack).
After a year, I have to say that I wouldn't change them! They are worth it a lot!! I had paid €250 and I was hesitant about whether they would meet my soundproofing needs. Amazing sound, I don't max them out because I don't need to like I did with my old headphones.
400+ hours of listening in one year and we continue. I bought them mainly because I use buses and trains daily. They have lasted even the last euro without any drop in their performance.
Very good headphones, the microphone is my only problem because almost never in a public place can anyone hear me well. The battery is good but it is quite expensive for what it practically offers.
The noise cancellation is excellent. Next to the apartment building I live in, they are demolishing and building a new one and I don't hear anything. It's a bit overpriced at the 280 I paid for them, but they are amazing.
The best headphones I have ever bought! I have had them for about a year, and all I have to say is that they are incredible! Amazing sound, amazing noise canceling, just the right amount of bass, and they come in a case that is the perfect size, unlike the xm5s that don't "fold," so they are not as convenient. The only downside I could find is that due to their relative weight, they can become a bit tiring after a couple of hours, so taking a break for about a quarter of an hour is necessary. When I bought them, they were 400, and I didn't regret it, but now that they are around 230, I think they are a must-have for someone willing to spend that amount on headphones.
I have had them for almost 2 years, they are amazing headphones with excellent noise cancelling. Although it is true that compared to the headphones I used to use, which were priced at 50€ and 60€, the difference is huge. I found them at a reasonable price of around 250€.

Very good headphones with possibly the best ANC available on the market. Crystal clear sound that you can customize through the app. The only thing I want to note, especially for future buyers, is the following. If you want to use them for work and connect them to Windows/Mac, think again. There is a compatibility issue with these software and the microphone channel gets mixed up. This results in the sound not being audible
An excellent product, I don't need to mention anything different from what others have written. Every time you wear them and then put them back in their case, you thank yourself for choosing them.
One thing I have to say is that these are one of the best headphones I have tried. About a year ago, I first saw them and fell in love with both the design and the performance based on the countless reviews I read. I have had them for almost a month now and I can say that they are definitely worth it and more. You can listen to your music undisturbed without being affected by external noises, etc. I have only tried them in terms of music, but not for calls, unfortunately. They come with a charger inside their case, which is for charging them on the plane, along with the cable, and there is another cable for regular charging. They can also be connected to both Android and iPhone devices. However, if you don't want to spend a large budget on these specific headphones, you can simply get other headphones that are almost functionally the same. ☺️

The worst connectivity I have encountered in a device is the "Sony headphones connect" which is mandatory for connecting to any device. It is incredibly inconvenient, doesn't work properly, and randomly locks or shuts off the headphones whenever it wants, among other issues.
From me, it's a no.
The best NC on the market and excellent sound.
Much better than airpods for use in the city and while traveling.
Impressive features, especially the automatic configuration based on the recognized location: at home, they reduce the NC, while on public transportation, they enhance it without manual adjustment, and the automatic pause when it detects an announcement from speakers (a lifesaver at the airport) if the relevant setting is activated.
A premium product at first glance, accompanied by an elegant case and a cable for wired connection. They are lightweight, foldable, and stylish (I got them in black).
Very good connection for calls (the headphones provide both sound and microphone) - sometimes people complain during conversations that my microphone "picks up" every sound in my surroundings and seems a bit more sensitive than usual. Nothing noteworthy as a negative, it doesn't affect the call badly.
The battery life is also very satisfactory.
Highly recommended primarily for every subway user who wants to isolate themselves from any noise. You feel like you're listening to podcasts in your living room, an indescribable feeling!
They are also recommended for gamers, I don't think there are better ones. The 3D sound captivates you.

After using it for about a month, I realize that the battery of this specific set of headphones does not last 30+ hours as mentioned in the presentation. With the noise canceling turned off and the volume slightly above half, it lasts at most 15-20 hours. Unless my headphones are defective.
Because I wasn't sure how well the noise cancellation works in practice, I started with a different budget option before going for the WH-1000XM4. It's simply incomparable to other models. Besides its features (e.g. when you talk, the noise cancelling stops so you can hear the conversation, or when you walk, it lets you hear the approaching car, or the announcements at the airport) and the highly useful customization, it has amazing sound quality and when you activate the noise cancellation, there is truly silence! I have used them on flights, trains, walking on the street, at the office, and they are truly impressive. They have a long battery life (on a 3-4 day trip, you don't even need to bring a charger) and a very practical carrying case! It is an expensive solution, well above the average prices of various competitors, but it is worth every penny and more.
I have been using them for three months now, almost every day, on the subway. I am very satisfied, the music is clear and the noise cancelling does an excellent job. You don't need to play them at full volume to hear, they are comfortable, and they don't tire you out compared to others. I don't know if they are value for money, I could answer that if I had also tried the Anker Life Q35...
Very good, a little bit expensive
Whatever I say about these headphones is not enough. Before you start throwing stones at me, I would like to clarify that I am not a Sony fanboy as this is the first product I have purchased from the company. I had many €50 headphones before that constantly disappointed me, so I decided to go all in and buy this expensive product. 6 months after daily use, I decided to write my opinion. They are amazing headphones! The sound is simply perfect (I am not a DJ and I don't know about bass and such, but I simply like the sound). After 6 months of daily use, the headphones have no wear and tear and the cushions are fine. The noise cancellation is good, so good that you can't hear anyone when they speak. You can see them talking, but you can't hear a word. Maybe this is not ideal for some, for example, if you have kids, but I like not hearing my wife's nagging sometimes (between us). After hours of use, your ears might feel a bit uncomfortable, so that might need some improvement. So, I recommend them to everyone!
I will come back after a year of hard use to complete how good these headphones are in terms of durability. In simple Greek, they are tough. I use them for 8 hours every day, take them with me on all my trips, and they still work flawlessly. Once, I even fell asleep in the bathtub and half of them dipped in water. I realized it when they stopped playing, but 5 minutes later they were working normally again! There is an issue with Bluetooth sometimes when connecting to my PC, it freezes, but a reset solves the problem. I never had any issues with my phone. If anything happens to them, I will buy the same ones again
At their current price, they are excellent. Fantastic ANC, multi-point connection, and fantastic build quality.
They are not water-proof, so I would not recommend them for the gym, but for any other use (e.g. commuting, traveling, working, etc.), they are simply incredible.
Unbelievable noise cancellation.
These headphones are simply from another planet.
They have intelligent features that adjust the noise cancellation depending on where you are. There are profiles for walking, sitting, and in transit, as well as a smart function that brings in external sound when you speak so you can hear your conversation partner.

In a setting where others are talking, you can comfortably do your work while wearing the headphones, as they provide satisfactory isolation. If I want to speak, the headphones bring in external sound through the speakers, allowing me to communicate with others.
Public transportation
The headphones quickly recognized that I was in transit and maximized the noise cancellation. As soon as I started playing a movie through the headphones, I could tell that the bus was in motion solely from the vibrations of the floor.

The headphones reduce the noise cancellation so that you can hear external sounds such as approaching cars.
Calls on iPhone while using the headphones
For some reason, when I use them with my iPhone and receive a call, the call doesn't automatically go through to the headphones, resulting in me not being able to hear. I have to take off the headphones to speak on the phone, and after a while, the sound automatically switches back to the headphones, causing confusion.
Truly speechless about wireless headphones.
At first, I thought websites like what hi-fi were joking, but they really are the best in their series and believe me, they surpass even headphones from big companies... and even wired headphones like b&w.

I have them for almost 2 years, they were purchased on sale for 150€, we are talking about top wireless headphones. For those who travel frequently, they are the most convenient because they can be connected to the airplane, their battery lasts long enough, and the sound isolation is amazing. I wish they could be used as a headset for the computer, but unfortunately, they cannot work simultaneously with a microphone and headphones on Discord, for example. They also automatically connect to all devices that have Bluetooth with the Sony app. For example, you can watch Netflix on your laptop, receive a phone call on your mobile, and simply press to answer the call on one headphone, very practical
I bought them a week ago because they were recommended to me. I needed active noise cancelling due to a lot of noise at work. I don't have a comparison with any other, but I think they do an excellent job. The extra feature is a bonus, when you talk to someone and they hear your voice, it pauses what you're listening to and transfers sound from the external environment directly to your ear. The touch panel has a very good response, they connect immediately to the phone when you open them (I have an iPhone 11 and I had a reservation about whether they would connect quickly, without any problems). As for the battery, after a full charge, it drops to 80% after 8 hours of continuous use. I charge them after two 8-hour uses. The app is nothing special, but it does its job. I would recommend them.
You cannot use the headphones if you do not have a new mobile phone. The application does not even find them via Bluetooth because my phone is simply old and has a previous version of Android. NO feature works, such as sound isolation, touch on the side, and "pause" when you remove them from your ears. If someone wants to use them on a desktop computer, they should keep in mind that they need a mobile phone for the application. You might say that most people have one. I don't, and I won't change my phone because the €280 headphones do not have an application for a desktop computer and require a "new" mobile phone. Unacceptable. The sound also does not accept any adjustments without the application
The touch panel is somewhat tiresome as it is so sensitive, I would prefer it to be a little more comfortable on the ears, but otherwise it is the best in its category. I wouldn't trade it for the 5th model in the series just for better comfort. They are the latest in compact form. Together until the end, then.
Truly WONDERFUL headphones. Clean sound, bass, quality construction. They are not for audiophiles, but for an average listener who wants clean, powerful, and warm sound, they are the BEST CHOICE. When I say they are not for audiophiles, I don't mean they don't have clean sound. They have very clean sound, they just aren't flat studio headphones. You can enjoy all genres of music and appreciate the details of the songs. The noise cancellation is very good, and the sound during calls is also good. Overall, the headphones produce quality and it is evident that they have been carefully constructed. The accompanying application is also very good. HIGHLY recommended for someone who wants clean and rich sound. Compared to cheap gaming headphones, they are light years better.
