Excellent purchase. I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to cook quickly, easily, and deliciously GRILLED (not boiled) at home....and with very easy cleaning!!! It goes without saying that it can be easily transported anywhere. Personally, I cook at 4 and in just half an hour with the lid closed, it's ready!!!
As for the quality of construction, everything is good...the handle on the glass lid is screwed on perfectly....everything is easily removable and washes quickly without leaving any residue from burnt grease, etc. Now someone might ask about the electricity: if it's cost-effective, how much it consumes, etc.
I don't know yet, but I don't think it's worth mentioning when you only cook for half an hour and have a ready meal mix grill for 4 people!!! (when it only takes half an hour to preheat the oven grill).

So, let's introduce ourselves: I am one of those obsessed with portable electric grills, which have proven to be a puzzle for strong solutions in the era of artificial intelligence. Adler is the fourth one I have bought for my country house (I returned the first two directly, I loaded the third one and I will have it to bake... pitas for souvlaki! haha).
I paid attention to what Angelo wrote, that a grill MUST have a lot of watts. This is the secret to guaranteed success. With less than 2,200w, you don't grill, you boil... it doesn't matter if it has a lid, etc., it needs power.
So today was its maiden voyage and I was anxious as you can understand (I couldn't handle another failure, enough already).
The grill is incredible. Finally, a grill that grills quickly, evenly everywhere, effectively, and deliciously.
As you will see in the photos (when they are published), I put 4 pork skewers, a pork chop, and a chicken breast fillet (cut and opened in the middle to not be thick).
I forgot to keep track of the cooking time (due to my anxiety), but everything was ready comfortably in half an hour. What pleasantly surprised me was that everything became incredibly tender!!! and tasty. None of them dried out (especially the chicken is strange when grilled). It reminded me of professional grilling in taverns!!! (I had the thermostat at 4).
As for what has also been mentioned in the reviews about the "problematic" handle on the lid, which scared me so much that I hesitated to order it, personally I did not encounter any problem. However, as you can see in my photos, there is also a transparent silicone plug that fits inside the hole (along with a wheel and screw) and the handle is separate. In mine, by placing them like this, the handle is solid.
Now let's talk about the "after," meaning cleaning. I don't remember what I read about whether it can be washed in the dishwasher, but I preferred to wash it by hand when it cooled down. There are 4 parts to wash: the glass lid, the grilling surface, the plastic base, and the tray.
I wrapped the tray in aluminum foil (as I always do with grills) and it came out perfectly clean and dry. Make sure to wrap it and secure the aluminum foil with tape so it doesn't move. It is indeed very shallow, but only a few drops of fat dripped, so there was no problem.
The glass lid is easy to clean (it doesn't collect anything special).
The grilling surface is the most troublesome, but with plenty of dish soap and the soft side of the kitchen sponge, it becomes spotless. There is a slight greasy feeling when you touch it, but it is imperceptible. Of course, DO NOT use the wire side of the sponge because it will scratch the surface. The heating element is cleverly hidden in the bottom of the surface, fully integrated and inaccessible. This helps a lot with washing without fear of getting water in and causing a short circuit.
Finally, the plastic base only splashes slightly at the edges and cleans easily (this one requires caution because the plastic on the sides is very thin and can easily break).
In conclusion, don't waste your time and money on "cheap" solutions and experiments. Get this one, once and for all! (I am so happy when I effortlessly give it a 5-star rating).
EDIT 23/08/23: After the second grilling and washing (the day before yesterday), today when I went to turn it on, it tripped the relay. Obviously it has taken in water somewhere. I used a hairdryer to try and dry it, but nothing. Now I have it on the balcony in the sun. I hope it dries out and works again, because otherwise I will give up on the grill. With so much technology all around us, we can't have an electric grill without problems... I'm tired of it.
I wanted an electric grill with high wattage and a lid because I noticed that grills with high wattage had the best reviews!! The lid helps to contain odors and retain temperature, aiding in cooking thoroughly!! I can say that I found all of these features in this product, it is the only grill with a non-stick surface (easy to clean) that has power (2000-3000 watts) for impressive professional-style grilling!! The surface is very large and divided into {{ridged}} and flat surfaces, with the flat surface being ideal for cooking burgers. I have tested it at temperature 4, it also has 5. The only negative is the material of the handle, it requires caution, but the grill plate and lid are very sturdy construction!! If I notice anything, I will come back and update!!
It bakes very well, has intensity, the only problem I see is in the screw of the handle on the glass lid. It moves a lot, it is completely loose and it creates insecurity for you, and if you tighten it more, the handle comes off completely.
