    This review is about a variation of the product

    I used it for a few months with Home Assistant to control the lights in different rooms. It works quite well but I noticed that it has a significant delay. Which is logical, as the device is in sleep mode for battery saving purposes and only connects to WiFi when the button is pressed.

    In the end, I decided to switch to Zigbee by purchasing the Aqara Wireless Mini Switch and now I have no issues. As for the Shelly Button 1, I will find some use for it. The conclusion, however, is that if responsiveness is important to you, it is better to avoid WiFi battery switches and go directly for Zigbee.
