With its balanced, transformerless output, it achieves extremely low noise levels and impressive dynamic range.

  • Five different polar patterns are selectable via a rotary switch.
  • In the sixth position, marked with the Latin letter "R", the polar patterns can be selected remotely from the N 248 power supply unit.
  • This function does not require any special cable.
  • The microphone has a 10dB attenuation switch on the back for sources with very high sound levels.
  • It also features a hi-pass filter switch.
