I have been taking them for years. I don't care about the taste. What I know is that when I have a cough or a tight throat and feel the phlegm, you take one and "breathe" again, while it dissolves the phlegm and you spit it out afterward. With 2-3 for 2 days, I comfortably clear my throat of phlegm every time.
I was very satisfied with the taste of eucalyptus - propolis (blue packaging). It soothed my throat on the first day and the next day the sore throat was gone. It also helped with my cough. I tried it with honey but it wasn't effective.
Not at all. For a dry throat that is already scratching from the cough, they make it worse and even choke you. Stay away. LEVOTUSS or SINECOD for dry cough, one tablespoon every 8 hours. MUCOSOLVAN if you have a lot of phlegm, one tablespoon every 12 hours
They are hard, rubbery, sweet gummy bears. Besides the sweetness, they are tasteless and odorless (raspberry flavor). I didn't see any difference in my throat while using them. The box is nice, eco-friendly, but not so practical, as it doesn't close tightly and can open at any moment (in your bag for example). I will finish them as a vitamin C supplement, but I won't buy them again, at least not this particular flavor.
It doesn't soothe any throat or cough. It's a simple soft candy that melts very quickly (in a minute). I wouldn't buy it again and I wouldn't recommend it for what it claims. It doesn't work.
Although I don't like the taste of this (eucalyptus and propolis), it somehow helps with dry cough, so they are always present in the house. I haven't found a product for sore throat that offers something, so I endure for 1-2 days by drinking hot mountain tea with chamomile and honey.
I tried the Eucalyptus flavor as I know how helpful its oil is for breathing. It has a very nice taste, and you immediately feel like you're breathing better and it even opens up your nose if you're congested. Maybe the price could have been a little cheaper, but I was satisfied! Obviously, they don't cure you, but they are herbal with a nice taste
Although the product is helpful and has a very nice taste, I was tempted many times to break it in my attempt to open the packaging. I don't know if it was just me, but honestly, out of the 20 attempts to open it, I only succeeded 3 times. Eventually, I had to take out the candies and put them in another container so as not to lose my patience. The 4 stars are solely due to this experience. As a product, it deserves 5 stars.
I have tried all the flavors and the blue box (eucalyptus and propolis) is the best.
They are better for me both in taste and in the fact that they stop my cough more effectively.
I consider the yellow ones (honey and thyme) to be less effective and they melt much faster in the mouth.
They effectively soften and soothe the throat, and they also have a very pleasant and distinct licorice flavor! They are definitely worth their price, as each package contains plenty of lozenges. Additionally, it is a positive aspect that they do not contain sugar!
Nice little box, nothing else..
Cough + sore throat = They continue to bother you
You can't even taste the thyme. Fortunately, though, I hoped it would burn my throat a little and work soothingly.
It is not for a sore throat or cough. It has a nice taste and a beautiful packaging. They are soft, chewy candies. You have them in your mouth and you enjoy. And you continue to cough.
I am referring to the eucalyptus flavor. Out of the whole range (blackberry and propolis, honey and thyme, licorice and propolis), they are the best. They provide a refreshing breath, suitable moisture for a dry throat, and may also help reduce coughing. They are not analgesic, meaning if you have a sore throat, it won't go away, but they do soften your throat. If you have severe cold symptoms, they won't help, prefer stronger candies.
It has several candies inside, which is very positive. They burn quite a bit, I would say, but they helped with intense sore throat, cough, phlegm, difficulty breathing, and overall respiratory problems. Also, I would like to mention that with COVID, they were the only ones that I could taste
Flawless taste and performance, it almost eliminates a mild/moderate cough from a dry throat, of course, you have to "take" one every now and then.. For those who don't want syrups and don't have serious issues in their pocket, I manage with these during colds.
The products with propolis from Apivita are mainly excellent. Especially the syrups and throat spray are amazing. However, this particular one didn't win me over. I should note, of course, that it is a Swiss product, the rights of which are owned by Apivita for Greece (as stated on the label).
This box contains 20 lozenges, each containing 10mg of vitamin C. The recommended dosage is stated as 5 lozenges per day. The lozenges are made of a rubber-like material, odorless and tasteless. I did not notice any improvement in my throat. After this failure, I tried Halls honey candies and I consider them to be 10 times better at half the price. Pay attention to the box packaging, it wins the stupidity award because it does not seal after the adhesive tape is removed. Meaning, you cannot put it in your pocket or bag because it will open and you will be searching for the candies. All boxes of this kind abroad have a screw cap that seals, except for this one from APIVITA, and I find it unacceptable. After the first opening, you should always place it on a horizontal table and not in your car or bag. I believe that this product is the ultimate defamation of APIVITA, which produces natural products. If you had the misfortune of buying it, do not throw it away, you can use the lozenges as office desk stabilizers and the box as a secret paperclip holder if you smoke secretly in the office. For the throats of those who shout or are forced to speak for many hours, I recommend using Halls honey candies or the Korres honey and thyme cough syrup, which have amazing results.
