It has been a few days since I bought this projector after a month of research. I bought it solely for summer cinema in my country house, to watch movies in the yard. Since this is my first purchase in this category, I wanted something affordable and good. After comparing it with other projectors in similar price ranges, I believe this one is top-notch for what it offers.
1) All the instructions in the booklet are in Greek, so you have no difficulty starting to set it up.
2) The device's menu is simple without many complications, so you can easily make the settings you want for colors, sound, etc.
3) It performed very well in an outdoor space at night with a lot of surrounding lighting. When I tested it with all the lights off, the result was flawless.
4) It connected wirelessly to my tablet without any problems. I had already downloaded movies from Netflix on the tablet (I don't have internet in my country house), and it plays them perfectly without any lag, etc.
5) The sound from the speakers is nice, but for someone who is used to using amplifiers and speakers, it may seem a bit weak. (Personally, I have a home theater system set up). I also added some cheap Logitech speakers, but I will get more powerful ones.
6) The sound of the projector when it operates in an open space, which is where I use it, is simply negligible. I can't even hear it. I have no opinion on how it sounds in a closed space.
7) I project onto a plastic shower curtain, and despite that, the projection is flawless. Since it is in an open space, I didn't want to spend money on a projection screen.
8) I want to emphasize that it has focus adjustment depending on the distance you want to project it. However, it does not have zoom, so you have to move it forward/backward depending on how big or small you want the image to be. From what I estimated with my eye, at a distance of 3 meters, it is around 120 inches. This didn't bother me much because I use it in an outdoor space.
9) It can also be used on a low table. It doesn't need to be mounted on the ceiling or somewhere high.
*Lastly, and importantly, it comes with a 1-year warranty, not the 2 years stated on the box. To have a 2-year warranty on the device, you need to go to the conceptum website within 15 days of purchase and register the device for warranty extension, otherwise, you can call them.
#Overall, I consider it a good purchase for the money.#
Today I received, installed, and replaced an old Nec projector lamp. Obviously, I can't compare the resolution because one plays with VGA and the other with 1080 HDMI.
I will start with the negatives that I consider to be more.
* Almost non-existent projection settings. The only thing you can adjust next to the lens is the angle and clarity.
* Very difficult adjustment of the above settings, resulting in not being able to make fine adjustments to find the right clarity.
* It does not have auto adjust.
* Under a projection angle, meaning the projector is high and the projection is low, the image is not clear at all. To make it clear, you have to adjust it from the lens, but the result is seeing a trapezoid instead of a rectangle. It needs to be perfectly straight to see a rectangle and clear everywhere. If you adjust it from the lens while it is tilted, it becomes excessively blurry and the clarity adjuster doesn't help. Either the top or the bottom will be clear.
* It does not have settings in the menu to make it rectangular, change the position of the image in the projection, or fix the angles. Basically, it has no adjustments. Only brightness, contrast, color, sharpness, and zoom reduction.
* As for the zoom, the projector was placed on an existing ceiling mount. Compared to the old projector, it had a larger projection size. There, I used the zoom to shrink the image to fit on the existing screen. This adjustment can only be done with HDMI. In the main menu, it is not possible and it goes way off. I will have to make new holes in the ceiling to bring it closer to where the natural resolution of the main menu is.
* To see it decently, I had to lower the mount to a very low height so that it hits almost straight and is clear everywhere, and I can see a rectangular image.
* Mirror screen works fine.
* The sound is normal, it plays on the balcony. It sounds decent.
* The noise is reduced compared to the old one, but I would still consider it normal and maybe a bit on the higher side. I think it would bother me in a bedroom.
* The brightness is moderate, as well as the contrast.
* As for fast scenes, I wasn't impressed. I read somewhere about gaming and 60fps, but it's difficult.
* I read very good reviews and bought it, but I was disappointed with the result.
* 1080 projection is an advantage and definitely a very clear image compared to the old one, but I probably wouldn't recommend it.
Well, for daytime projection, forget about it. It needs complete darkness.
I hope this review helps someone. What bothers me the most is the tilted image because I have to have it perfectly straight to avoid blurriness.
I was quite skeptical, but after reading so many reviews and hearing the voice of God, I went ahead and made the purchase. Everything I had read was confirmed! I had some difficulty with the initial setup because I have no experience with other projectors, but with a little help, I managed.
In the end, it really is a very affordable and honest product, as many say. It has all the basic features that someone would want at the lowest price. It does everything and is worth it!
5 stars for this, as well as for the fact that the representative was very helpful in assisting me with the setup.
Ideal for Full HD video use, very bright for the money I spent, maybe better than others I've seen in other homes. It also has pre-installed Android apps and Play Store. As an extra, the Wi-Fi that I can quickly connect my laptop to and watch whatever I want without any problems. I recommended it to a friend and she was very satisfied as well.
Used in a tutoring center. Very good for its price. Good image for presentations, images, and videos with moderate resolution. Do not choose it if you want to connect to WiFi as the image transfer is terrible.
Very good projector, works exceptionally well on walls and screens as you can see in the photos. The fan makes some noise but I don't think it's such a big problem, you get used to it.
For its price, you can simply say it's good (mainly for movies/series use). It presented quite a few black spots in a relatively short period of time. As for the colors, brightness, and noise, everything is average as expected for a projector of this price, of course. Its negatives are the zoom and focus, as in order to achieve a clear image, you will have to place it exactly in the right position (testing in different positions does not bring the desired result to the image as it distorts). In conclusion, it is a product that I would recommend to someone who has never bought a projector before and does not shop from foreign stores and intends to start with something cheap in order to experiment.
The machine is exactly what an affordable home projector promises. It is not suitable for a store or presentation to deliver 100% performance, it needs to be in complete darkness. It is 1080p 60hz for gaming, it has no lag, and its sound is satisfactory. It is definitely worth its money.
Apart from the difficulty in installation, it is very satisfactory. Even the issue of the table-like stand can be ignored because it does not affect the proportions of the image you see. I placed it on a 90cm high furniture. Anyone who wants adjustments and perfect image quality must spend multiple amounts. For this price, it is excellent. You will enjoy it.
For its price, it is very good! (We know what to expect for this price).
Initially, one needs to find the right position-tilt for placement. I made several attempts. I raised the leg to 30 degrees. The image adjustment switches help with smooth movements, but their motion is not the best. It took some dynamic intervention for them to roll for the first time (initially, I thought they were broken...).
A lens cover was needed!
The image (brightness, contrast, color, etc.) and sound have settings when playing the video, so you achieve the image and sound you want. The image is good even when there is light.
I lowered the zoom from 100 to 80, changed the image settings, and had a very good image on the 100-inch screen with the appropriate distance.
All connections work correctly, only the USB sometimes does not recognize all the flash drives. It easily connects with smartphones and Apple devices.
The sound is quite loud.
The volume is a disadvantage. Its dimensions are approximately 32*25*13.
Very satisfied with the service from conseptum (they informed me to change the subtitle encoding in movies to UTF-8 to display correctly and not as Chinese or squares).
With just 219 euros, I am very satisfied with my purchase!
Moderate brightness despite the high lumens. Especially if you want a large image because it doesn't have zoom, the brightness becomes very low when you go far away. The image tilts for angle correction, but as a result, the focus is lost on one side of the image. Ideally, you should project it straight. Generally, I wouldn't buy it if I had tried it :(
It was placed in a school in a multipurpose room. From the first day, everyone was satisfied with the work that was purchased. It is worth the money for an economical solution.
For the money it's worth it. For household use, watching a movie/taking photos is great. It's bright even with the lights on. I haven't tried it during the day, only at night.
The only thing I noticed is that when the keystone adjustment is slightly larger, there is a distortion in the focus from the left side to the right. However, by changing the position of the projector to reduce the keystone, the distortion smooths out.
I connected it to an Android TV box Beelink 4k and I am very satisfied. The viewing distance is 3.85 meters, more than the company's recommendation. I project from the ceiling and struggled to convert the old Optoma mount. The Conceptum, due to lack of lens shift for image adjustment, requires a bracket at least 40 cm from the ceiling. Luckily, the invention worked and I avoided buying a new mount. I also tried Miracast with my mobile phone, it works great. Don't forget to select the image source, otherwise it will take you to the main menu when you turn it on.
I bought the projector to make some presentations at work. In the specifications, it says 4000 lumens. Unfortunately, it is not even close. Next to it, a ViewSonic with 3500 lumens was much brighter. The focus now is a bit difficult to use and it takes some effort to achieve exactly what you want. In summary, it needs darkness to display and don't expect it to show colors correctly
Amazing clarity, brightness, image quality. I didn't expect it! The only major drawback, but crucial, is that it has a problem with Wi-Fi connectivity or screen mirroring. You will only be able to do your work with an HDMI cable
For the money, this is a very good choice. I will only mention the main negative that I noticed, which has to do with the centering of the image. Specifically, I found that in order to open the image, you have to move it further back in position, but the issue is that if you project the image with the projector tilted upwards using the elevation foot, then it creates distortion in the image, meaning the image opens in size as it goes up. There is a setting with the wheel to bring it straight, but it either blurs the top or the bottom of the image. In other words, you cannot clean the entire image. I preferred to see a slightly distorted schematic image, not a perfect parallelogram, rather a blurry image.
Simply anyone who has never had a projector in their life will be fully satisfied !!! Awesome even in semi-darkness and not completely dark !!! You connect the chromecast and everything ends perfectly with cosmote tv, Netflix, etc. I don't know if it's worth the money because I've never had another one, but I definitely don't regret it. The sound is okay, not something amazing, but it's fine. I project on the wall and I always have over 150 inches crystal clear with my eyes !!! The connection for apple is perfect without interruptions, on android it gave me some trouble, but I guess it's because of the tablet I have.
The purchase was made due to the full HD image at this price. It uses LED, so after its lifespan, you throw it away (there is no bulb to replace). The pleasant surprise is that despite the 430 ANSI Lumens (stated as 4500 Lumens on the sticker on the packaging), the projected image looks fine even with open blinds on a cloudy day. The instruction manual states that the projection size should not exceed 120 inches. At home, I project on a 145-inch screen (3.70 meters diagonally) and the image looks good.
The connection to the desktop PC was made with a 5-meter HDMI cable and it works well. The Wi-Fi connection with the tablet regularly experiences interruptions even after restarting, despite the fact that the two devices are very close to each other.
It is advisable to mute the built-in speakers if there is a stereo or 5.1 sound system, as the sound naturally comes from the screen and not from next to the viewers.
As for the downsides, the lack of a zoom lens makes installation difficult, but at this price, it is forgivable. However, there should be a plastic lens cover to prevent it from getting dusty.
The main thing is to compare similar things - here we compare projector lamps with LED - comparison cannot be made - the cheapest lamp at 1024X768 XGA resolution is more expensive .... why is that?
1. Users request zoom, no projector has zoom with the philosophy of a camera except for those that change lenses (products over 2-3000€), so the lack of zoom as a disadvantage in a device that wouldn't have it anyway is irrelevant and unfair, especially for the 260€ it costs.
2. Let's not compare projector lamp features with LED, comparison cannot be made, with the main example being brightness - it is not comparable because the lumens are not ANSI. 4000 LED lumens are different from lamp lumens. The cheapest projector with 4000 ANSI lumens costs over 500€. I saw requests for vertical and horizontal keystone correction.... Half of the lamps only have it in one dimension, so why do we ask a cheap LED to have it - it's a different conversation - there are very specific brands that have it and they are A BRANDS MADE IN JAPAN.
3. It is not suitable for school or meeting rooms where we have natural + artificial lighting - it requires darkness. It cannot provide large screens or be placed at a long distance because its brightness is not sufficient. Children cannot study in the dark.
4. It is a Chinese imitation product, value for money for those who want a large screen at minimal cost. Excellent for its price - don't expect to see perfect color or such characteristics. Suitable for country houses, no big deal, and movies in evening projection. Alternative projection in a bedroom on the wall, etc. - if you consider that an economical full HD lamp costs 700+ and an economical good one costs 900+, you can draw your own conclusions. I wouldn't put it in my living room unless I know what I'm getting and it suits me.
4. Also, the LED doesn't change anything.... you throw it away, it has an indicative lifespan of 25,000-50,000 hours and then you buy another one. Therefore, it is wrong to ask for features from a product that shouldn't have them based on price and target category. If that were the case, we would all have an LED for up to 300€ and we would be happy. A decent Chinese product for basic tasks.
I got it for home use. I made a stand for it and at a distance of 3.6m and a height of 2m, the projection is excellent, either from a PC or from a Mirror. Just keep in mind the possible cables you will need if you connect it to a sound system
The projector is one of the worst I have purchased. From the first day of operation, it had limited brightness. When I took it to the service, they told me that the lamp needs to be replaced but it is not covered by the warranty and I had to pay for it. Very bad product. Very bad service. STAY AWAY.
It has arrived and I don't see why some complain. The effort of the manufacturers is evident with the first opening. And it clearly states that it supports zoom, 15° horizontal lens rotation, and 360° rotation. It also has a 1-year warranty (and another one if you manage to access its website within the first fifteen days of purchase) and if I were to invoice the product, I would add an extra five hundred euros. It is a worthy competitor of well-known companies like Epson. The lamp is replaceable and I highly recommend it
With my little experience and based on the quality I see in front of me, I have been satisfied. Only the centering of the distance needs a little adjustment, but it can be fixed.
