If they fall down, their tip actually breaks very easily.
Their main advantage, however, is that they clean very easily!!
From the cover of the sofa (...!!) the "painting" was removed with a soft damp sponge.

The pencils are quite thick, so they are relatively safe for accidents for small children. But.. if they fall down (which they will), or if the child throws them down, the tip will break and with three sharpenings at most (in total), a new tip will come out, they are finished because they are too short. Conclusion, they are very expensive for their lifespan.
