It is the best thing on the market right now, if you combine it with a Dr. Brown's bottle, there is no chance the baby will have colic (the bottle should always be glass and the large one so that it lasts). Pay attention to the temperature of the water before adding the powder, it should be around 43 to 46 degrees. Always add 30ml more than what the baby drinks, for example, my baby now consumes 150ml (of water), if I put 150ml, in two hours he will be hungry again because I cut it a little before the end for safety, so it doesn't reach satiety. If I put 180ml, he definitely drinks 150ml and I am sure about the three hours. With this tactic, he sleeps from 22:00 to 6:00 since the second month. I hope I helped, kisses to your little angels...

At first, we were happy because the gaps were better than the previous formula we had tried, but from the second day, constipation and discomfort started, and the baby was so fussy and in pain that he couldn't sleep. Did you find this review helpful?This particular milk and all the corresponding ones from other companies in the same category, i.e. with the numbering 1, 2, or 3, are not recommended for infant age, especially when combined with breastfeeding.
We happened to give birth to our second child in Germany and to our surprise, we found out that both pediatricians and midwives recommended avoiding powdered milks with the indication 1, 2, 3 due to the intense feeling of satiety they create in the baby. For our first child, we also gave milk with the numbers 1, 2, 3 respectively because there was no other option.
The only powdered milks that simulate breast milk, do not burden the baby's stomach, and are recommended by experts in Germany are the so-called "PRE" (e.g. HIPP COMBIOTIC PRE), which unfortunately I do not see available in the Greek market. PRE milks provide almost the same feeling of satiety as breast milk, which means that the baby will demand it almost every 2 hours, which is also normal. It will not fall into lethargy for so many hours nor will it become bloated over time.
In addition, the dosage for PRE milks is not as strict since the baby does not get bloated no matter how much it drinks. In contrast to the 1, 2, 3 milks, where great attention is needed to avoid exceeding the dosage during preparation of the drink as it will heavily burden the baby's stomach.
For this reason, here they recommend consuming PRE milks until the child transitions to solid foods, i.e. not switching at all to the corresponding ones in categories 1, 2, 3. Whether it is HIPP, FREZY, NESTLE, etc.
The reason I wrote the above is precisely to make you aware that this category of milks exists, which unfortunately is absent from the Greek market.

The baby accepted this specific milk pleasantly, the colic stopped, the reflux stopped, he started to act normally, and overall he calmed down from all the issues caused by the previous milks, and returned to how he was when he was exclusively breastfed.
Since then, we haven't changed the Hipp brand, it's an excellent organic milk. As well as the rice flour and the farin lacte.

After 5 months, he has a) reached the 25th percentile in weight and b) his height is at the 90th percentile, with his head circumference at 45%. This means he is gaining weight, growing perfectly in height, and his brain development is excellent.
It is worth buying it through Skroutz at the best price. In 5 months, you will need BOXES and with a price difference of 3-4 euros, the total savings are huge. However, only transport it in COOLER weather with Skroutz when the air temperature is below 25 degrees. NEVER make DELIVERY in hot weather during the summer. It will boil and lose everything.
For babies who do not drink breast milk or have a tendency for constipation, it can be perfectly combined with Frisolac Comfort 1. The ratio is two boxes of HIPP (2x600 = 1200 gr) with 1 box of Comfort 1 (800 gr). Our ratio of 60% Hipp and 40% Comfort has ideal results. Rarely or almost never any problems. If you mix them, a) consult with the pediatrician 101% and b) make a very good mix in a stainless steel bowl. Also, buy the plastic container from Hipp that has a "cutter" for measuring. It costs only 2-3 euros and is worth 100%.
P.S. I highly recommend using only DR Brown's bottles, which have a patented anti-colic system.
