It is a lightweight machine, it doesn't make loud noise, and it doesn't take up much space. BUT it's not worth buying! Spend a little more money and get something better! The blades are not powerful and they don't cut well, so you have to hit the ingredients 100 times to get the desired result (smoothie) and still, some pieces will remain! I used it for a while and then I put it in the cupboard.
I have an older, similar one that is no longer sold, also Philips, and I got this one as a gift for my daughter. Simple, minimalist, and compact design, it doesn't take up much space, it has suction cups so it doesn't move, two speeds with noticeable difference in rotations. Nice trick to screw the blade onto the cup, prepare it directly in there to take it with you, and only the blade needs to be washed.
The only difficulty is that the lid is very tight to remove, at least it is waterproof. Quite noisy, same noise as the old one. The cord doesn't have a place to be stored, but theoretically it is always plugged in, ready for use.
Everything was fine until the bin fell and the spare parts broke. They cost 21€, almost half of the total
