  Quite a decent product. It takes 2 AA batteries (not included). Easy to use (simply place the pencil with one hand and hold the resistance, and with the other hand hold the sharpener to prevent it from turning with the pencil). I recommend it as it sharpens pencils/crayons very quickly and evenly compared to manual sharpening. I use it constantly
