No matter how good the original is, it does not justify its price in any way. When I have 2 workshops that need at least 12 batteries in one day, and each battery will go through about 500 cycles in a season and drop to around 70% performance with a total cost of 1200+€ on batteries. Comparable after-market batteries costing 20-30 € from abroad have 70-80% performance compared to the originals but offer excessively better value for money

Quite a good battery but after several charges it loses its maximum capacity, resulting in a disproportionately reduced duration with each cycle.
As for the very negative aspects, its price is almost double compared to the Sony batteries we also use, with the latter having a much longer lifespan for half the price.
But what can we do? In front of Canon's wonderful photo archive, we overlook this aspect.

Excellent quality Canon. I would not recommend any third-party aftermarket in any case. Since 2010, I have been using the LP-E6 with a slight loss in their performance, now with the mirrorless LP-E6NH, after so many years they work flawlessly.
