  What can I say about this motherboard! I'm not saying that from what I've seen in the reviews it's quite good. Nevertheless, I bought this motherboard (msi mpg b550 gaming plus) a little while ago. Initially, from the moment I removed the protective covering around the motherboard's box, I realized it had been opened again by someone else, but I didn't pay much attention. Later, I used it to build a computer, and as soon as I tried to turn on the computer, there was no signal on the screen, so I went to a store in my area to have them check the computer and tell me what the problem was. Later, they called me and said that the motherboard has an issue (they also told me that they tested the other components of the computer on another motherboard where they worked fine). Essentially, the problem was the motherboard. I returned it at the end of November and I'm still waiting for a response until January 20 to tell me if there will be a replacement, refund, etc. While I have all the parts to build the computer, I am forced to wait. If I could, I would give it 0 stars.

  New motherboard for me and where to hang you. B550g plus + Ryzen 5600x + Crucial 3600 OC3866 + WD SN850X (pcie 4.0) but I had a Saphire 265 which, despite being old, performed well with the profiles of MSI afterburner in combination with the 5600x. And the day before yesterday morning I went to update the Bios. What did I need it for? I installed this with the 1.2.0.B and it messed everything up!!! 1) It doesn't recognize the PCIe 3.0 card on boot!!! It constantly beeps [beeeeep] [beep] [beep] which means [no card] or [burned card] or [damaged slot] or [damaged cable] or [damaged hdmi port]. And of course, none of these were true. But being the fearless one, I decided to try a rollback with the flash rear button, just in case... NOT EVEN THAT!!! Neither the same ROM, nor ROM-1 version, nor ROM-2 version. It pissed me off and I put the old B450 gaming max plus (3 hours of sewing and everything was fine...............! Now I'm waiting for a decent flash bios update to fix this...........with the b550 on the shelf......
  I'M COMING BACK ON 14/3/2024 AFTER 2 MONTHS.
  FREAK-OUT!!! After contacting MSI about the BIOS, I reinstalled the mama-BIOS but how? It didn't recognize any stick except for a USB adapter that takes a 256MB SDHC from a photo camera. !!!! It worked for 1 1/2 months and now it doesn't recognize the REALTEK Ethernet on-board chip. !!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!
  And today, 16/03/2024, someone told me to do a bios reset to see if the Onboard Ethernet would work, and I did it and it worked!!! It's unbelievable.

  Unfortunately, I fell for it like many others with this specific motherboard. The first slot that takes m2 gen4 does not read it. So one of the most important elements (for me) disappeared and with an m2 gen4 being forced into gen3. Apart from that, it has enough ports for fans and rgb, although it does not recognize some like cooler master to adjust them. The construction is fine and beautiful. However, it is not worth the money because it does not offer what it claims and I did not expect this from MSI.

  Another problem besides the m2 slot. It started having black screens for no reason. At first, I thought it was the power supply or the graphics card, but it turned out to be the motherboard. I don't know what went wrong.

  Adequate motherboard for the money, it has two M2 slots but only one with PCIe 4.0 protocol. The RGB is very poor, don't expect anything great, it's hardly noticeable, and the material quality is also average. However, it gets the job done and hasn't given me any issues. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and 4 8GB RAM sticks that sync flawlessly at 3600MHz. Personally, the lack of WIFI and Bluetooth limited me somewhat, but I knew that from the beginning. I would prefer to spend a little more money to get something more worthwhile. However, a motherboard with a B550 chip and fake RGB in the $100 range is just okay, you can compromise or just spend another $100 for something better.

  Unacceptable price... a few months ago it was at 100-120€, now it's at 160-180€. It's not worth that much money. You're now buying it more expensive than when the chipset was new. It's on an old platform now, where even if the competition had poor reliability, all problems are now fixed.
