The scooter incorporates advanced speed control and energy recovery system (KERS), as well as a Cruise Control system for maintaining a constant speed.
The non-slip and shock-absorbing tires (8.5 inches) will effectively absorb shocks, preventing slipping while driving. At the same time, the 250W brushless DC motor ensures comfortable and uninterrupted driving.
The high-capacity lithium batteries offer a driving range of up to 20 kilometers, thanks to the smart battery management system (BMS). Additionally, the Essential is equipped with a dual braking system, a disc brake on the rear wheel, and an E ABS system on the front wheel.
The scooter connects to the Mi Home app (via Bluetooth) to check the driving speed as well as the remaining power in real-time.

This model is perfect in every aspect for someone who weighs around 50 kilograms. For more weight, we should consider getting the 1s or pro.
I don't mind that it goes relatively slow since I knew that in advance... My issue is that on a very slight incline, the machine DOES NOT MOVE... It doesn't walk up a 4% slope for 50 meters!!!!!! With a fully charged battery, please.. I regret buying it for sure..!!
It is nice and worth the money to get from one point to another. Autonomy 25 kilometers indeed with the only negative being the shock absorbers that are non-existent. Other than that, it is perfect
A good budget scooter at €230 to get the job done, easy, convenient, and lightweight, goes at 20 km/h.
This particular scooter at such a discount that I found it (I got it for 200 euros) is amazing, it takes me to school at 70% and I comfortably return home at 40%. I recommend it for those who need a means of transportation: for strolls, to go to work, for trips, etc. AND... to be precise, it doesn't go at 18km/h, it goes at 20km/h (just a little over 2km/h)
It is very nice as an electric scooter and with the app, but what affects it more is the battery, it lasts 1-1.5 hours as long as the scooter is in operation. What would be perfect would be the battery.
4 stars because I would prefer it to have more autonomy and go with 25, but still it is very good. It also says that it has cruise control, but I can't find it in the application. If someone can help, please do
Two years later it still has about 70% battery. I would choose a larger wheel and suspension if I were to buy again
Real autonomy at 10-12 km, depending on the passenger's weight and road inclines. With stock firmware, it is slow, but with a hack, it reaches higher speeds and has better throttle response. Also, relatively fast for a heavy rider, it will need a tire change to a compact one, as the inner tube punctures quickly with little pressure from potholes. For its price (€200), it is value for money, with very good build quality, but average brakes and possibly limited legroom for tall riders.
For the price, it's the best. But if you're thinking of getting it, don't expect it to be similar to others that cost, for example, 500 euros. But for the 260 that I got it, it's the best.
It is very good for its price, but I would like it to have better battery life. For the village I live in, it is quite good.
Initially, its top speed is 20 km/h. Also, if we exclude the range, it has nothing to envy from the more expensive scooters. If you plan to charge it, I don't think that will be a problem either. For its price, it is very good!!!
It discharges very easily. The 20km autonomy is a huge lie. The first one I received was defective, I sent it back and after a month I got a replacement. The second one also consumes battery quickly, even for a short distance. I have to constantly charge it in order to do my tasks.
I bought this scooter last year around this time for a total of 265 euros. It still works perfectly without any damage until today. The only downside is that if you live in a village with hills, it doesn't handle them well. I don't think it's worth 350 euros if you live in a village with hills, etc. But if you live in a city with straight roads, it's worth it. 4 stars only for the price, not 5.
Edit: It went up to 420 euros, guys stay away. If you want something similar, get the 4 go scooter, which is priced at 299 euros on the Xiaomi website
Excellent. After 2 years and 1807 kilometers, it continues to work very well. I have replaced the gas twice. I have also only put a solid tire on the back (the front loses control in potholes). Also, the screw on the steering hinge broke. However, considering the rough use and my weight of 85 kilograms, it is amazing. I highly recommend it. And regarding the battery, it still holds up well and lasts about 10-20 kilometers (142 total charges, and 89 of them half charges).
It reaches a maximum of 20 km straight, it struggles to climb roads with incline and at a fairly low speed. After 2 months of use, it makes a tremendous noise as if the screw has come loose, and I heard another scooter on the road making the same noise, so it is probably its weak point. It is quite difficult to move it on stairs, etc. due to its weight
The XIAOMI essential scooter is the smallest of XIAOMI's lineup, but equally as good as its higher-end counterparts. I highly recommend it without hesitation
Very good... I am incredibly satisfied... I highly recommend it without hesitation
It is perfect, it goes at 20 km per hour, it has a very good range of 20 km, if you are under 70 or 60 kilos it doesn't struggle much on uphill slopes, only -6 km per hour, it is worth its money, just always wear a helmet for protection, and be careful not to brake abruptly because they will break, within 7 months, I hope this review helps you, thank you
edit: 27 October
I have it for 2.5 years and it's in perfect condition (after 6-7 services)
I definitely recommend it if you park somewhere far from the place you want to go,and it's very comfortable, but when you go in bumps it's so bumpy I can't see and it would be better if they added suspensions or shock absorbers on th scooter
but overall amazing

I have had it for almost 1 year, I don't use it well and it still works, it hasn't given me any problems at all. It's definitely worth the money, if you're looking for an electric scooter, I recommend this one!
Okay, good for the 260€ I bought it 4 months ago, I'm in a small town so I didn't need a big battery, that's why I chose the essential and installed firmware to go at 25km/h (and 30 in sport mode, but I don't use it), but the only thing that bothers me is that it started squeaking from the first month and it's somewhat annoying at times
Well, if you put the program on the scooter, it will feel like you're riding a motorcycle 0-31 in 15 seconds.
Maybe it's the best investment I've made this year. Simply top-notch, it goes 20 km/h but you can install a custom firmware to make it go 30 km/h (I don't recommend it due to the battery, motor, and controller's high wattage).
Incredible quality, brakes, and battery life (when you have the original firmware installed).
Honestly, I got it for €275 and it's really worth its money. I fully recommend it!!!
Update: After months of use, I would say that its battery could have been larger for better autonomy, but with this change, you should consider getting a 1s or pro 2. Now, I don't know... you can change the battery if you go and buy a larger battery set from abroad and install it yourself, meaning you make the battery connections on the scooter.
Reviewer of Mykonos scooter here. Every day for 3 months I traveled from Armenistis lighthouse to Chora for work and nothing happened... and I only had one good fall when I almost crashed with a delivery guy... now I'm in Thessaloniki and it goes to Oreokastro Center and center to Jumbo and then you need a bus... excellent choice, I have it running at 32 on average. If there's one thing I would suggest, it's to check the brakes every month! GREAT CAUTION WITH THE BRAKES!
For someone with few pounds or even better for children, it is the most value for money purchase you could make.
Sturdy construction / nice touch screen / easy transportation / and decent tire quality.
Its lights do not betray you and from a simple scooter you couldn't ask for more.
For someone quite heavy or wanting something faster with greater autonomy, it would be good to go for a more expensive xiaomi solution.
For me, who weighs 56 kilograms and uses it to commute to work in the city center, along with the use of the metro, it is perfect. I almost always have it in Sport mode, comfortably reaching speeds of 20 to 22 kilometers per hour (unless you're going uphill). The battery has never dropped below half (and I have traveled the distance from Cholargos to Monastiraki many times). It has very good brakes, excellent front and rear lights, and overall it is sturdy and reliable. If you are okay with a maximum speed of 20 kilometers per hour (you might get a bit bored on straight roads, as everyone will pass you) and you are also lightweight, then this scooter is perfect for its price!
It goes straight satisfactorily, the autonomy is not as advertised, it is about 10-12 kilometers. If you weigh over 80 kilograms, I think you should go for another solution. The scooter struggles on a slight incline. It is suitable for short rides mainly on straight roads. Easy to use and the application is quite good.
In the positives, the build quality is good as it gives you the impression that it is sturdy and not a toy. Beyond that, it reaches up to 20km, which you can only achieve with a full battery. When the battery is halfway, it doesn't reach the full 20km, not even downhill, as it conserves energy. On steep inclines with weight at 85kg, it takes you up for 8km. It hasn't disappointed me there, as you can give it a little push and it will make it through. After all, it's a scooter, not a car. I would prefer it to fold a little more or for some parts to be removable so that it can fit more comfortably in cars with limited space, etc. For short distances, it is just right, but don't expect it to have a range of 15/20km to easily go somewhere. Calculate about 10km to have a good speed. It is also advisable to avoid using the cruise control as it can be dangerous.
Very good product, sturdy construction, reaches 20km/h very quickly and easily, very good battery life (1 to 1.5 hours in sport mode at full speed on roads with inclines and declines), climbs moderate to steep inclines with 8-10km/h despite my weight of 85kg, good brakes, strong lights, so far I am very satisfied with everything. I highly recommend it. If anything changes in the future, I will update.
