I don't drink coffee much, but when I want to, this machine has saved my hands. I don't know if it produces a good flavor profile for the picky ones, but for a normal person, the machine produces better coffee than what we drink outside. The device is well-made. The kettle opens and cleans easily. Changing the filter is easy. It has a button that keeps the coffee warm. The cord is not very long.
The secret for coffee makers to last is frequent and proper cleaning. The previous one I had lasted 11 years with daily use and weekly cleaning.
Update
Unfortunately, it only lasted 3 years with meticulous and continuous cleaning. Disappointing!
Very good coffee maker, especially for its price! Quick coffee preparation and the coffee doesn't smell like plastic or lose its aroma. I have been using it daily for almost a year and it has never had a problem nor has its performance dropped. I believe it is value for money and worth it!
The second one I bought and before a year passes, the board breaks. They ask for the purchase receipt at your dealership (logical) for replacement. I am waiting for a copy reissue from the store where I bought it
Average construction from cheap plastics, something absolutely normal for this price range. However, the coffee it produces is so-so as the water falls in the center of the ground coffee with a continuous flow without changing, resulting in a hole opening in the coffee and the extraction not being done properly. Overall, it is a mediocre machine that simply does the job, without impressing with the result of the produced coffee.
I bought it a few days ago. I was disappointed with its material. For a Bosch coffee maker, I expected better materials. You need to close the coffee compartment well to avoid any issues. The coffee preparation is fast and it's a positive that it closes on its own. It makes good coffee for its price.
It makes coffee very quickly and has good build quality. One advantage it has is that it doesn't have removable parts like other filters. It opens from the front and you place the paper filter and the coffee. The only thing I didn't like is the automatic shut-off. After a few minutes, it automatically turns off, resulting in not keeping the coffee hot in the pot after an hour. So it's not worth making a lot of coffee to have it for the whole morning because it will get cold.
The cable is very short and turns off by itself, which is safer, but I got the coffee maker to have hot coffee for many hours. So I would prefer it not to turn off. Also, it doesn't have a mechanism to stop the flow of coffee when you remove the carafe. Finally, the carafe doesn't make very good contact with the spout on top and coffee spills from the sides
It is the best for its money.. It does not have top quality in plastics but it makes coffee in seconds!!! The negative is that for some reason it wrinkles the filter because it fills with too much water and you drink a few pieces of coffee together but ok.
I gave it two stars because when you buy Bosch, you hope for something better. We have been using it for a year and a half on a daily basis. The main problem is that the filter door does not fit well, resulting in steam dripping from the sides onto the hot floor of the container and making the well-known hissing sound. There shouldn't be so much steam there, it should have been condensed back into water, but anyway, the rest is fine for now.
I have no opinion regarding similar products because it is the first filter I have purchased, but it maintains the flavor and is fast in preparation compared to anything else I have seen elsewhere. As a plus for me, it is very easy to clean.
Today the coffee maker is exactly one year old since I bought it. Today it stopped working. I was excited by the reviews I saw here on Scroutz. It has never happened to me before for a coffee maker to break down within a year. Such a waste of money.
I cannot say if it makes good coffee, but I can say that it lasted for years without any problems in a tourist accommodation and without complaints... it melted shamefully on the kitchen counter by a tourist
With the first year, it did not draw water, they repaired it but the pump did not seem to work well as it made strange noises. After a month, it stopped working. Back to the service and after several days, I received the same coffee machine, in poor external condition obviously used... I don't know if I am more disappointed with the product or the service.
I wonder about the good comments. The coffee has no aroma at all, the 7 euro hand I had before was much better. Money wasted. The plastic is completely fake. Also, there is no option to keep it constantly open, I thought that the function that closes it after 40 minutes is optional, oh no!
Easy to use and clean! For a 30 euro coffee maker, it's okay! Don't expect to drink "real" filtered coffee from this machine! It's for simple use only! What impresses me is that it doesn't have a water flow adjustment, which comes out very quickly into the carafe! If the flow could be reduced, it would at least improve the quality of the coffee a bit! The flow is so strong that it makes a hole in the middle of the filter! Fail! It's fine for a little coffee at home! But don't get carried away and invite the whole family to have coffee from your new coffee maker!!
It does what it says. Also, a positive aspect is that by holding the button down, it has a sensor and keeps the coffee warm for 40-45 minutes from the moment you put it into operation. It is a beautiful glass and the rest is all plastic.
In general, it is very good for its price, but it is just the next step after buying a 15€ coffee maker.
Positives:
* It is VERY fast - by the time you put sugar in your cup, the coffee is ready.
* The water tank is easy to fill (I use either the jug or my cup for this).
* The jug does not drip and pours the coffee nicely.
* It has an automatic shut-off, which I really don't know why someone would buy a filter coffee maker without it :)
* I haven't noticed the coffee having less aroma/flavor compared to a much more expensive coffee maker I had before, in any variety.
* It is very compact in size and design, and that was one of the main reasons why I chose it.
Negatives:
* The plastics are very light and cheap, you can feel it in your hand and it greatly reduces the user experience.
* The drip stop works sometimes, sometimes not, I haven't figured it out yet.
Initially, I bought it because of its small size. I was skeptical about the "plastic" taste of coffee that some users mention. I ran it 5-6 times (I don't remember exactly) with vinegar and in the end, I also added the descaling powder that I have for my "good" coffee maker, being biased. In the first 2 coffee preparations, I noticed a slight plastic taste. Since then, nothing comes out. Not because I got used to it, but because nothing comes out. I also made coffee with the big machine (to check) and it had the same taste. Now, the aroma and texture of the coffee change a little, but it's okay. One costs 30€ and the other 350€. For me, the auto off feature that it has and turns off by itself in 40 minutes is a lifesaver. I checked it.
The jug doesn't inspire me with great confidence. It seems thin to me. Of course, it's good that it doesn't have a plastic spout for the coffee outlet and it's only glass because with a plastic spout, you have coffee leakage when you pour it into the cup. For its price, it's very honest, I think it even dropped to 20€ at some point. I will come back in the semester to see how it goes then
Beautiful construction, makes coffee quickly and automatically shuts off after 40 minutes. Don't forget to clean it from limescale, either with the special tablets or with vinegar. The vinegar to water ratio is 1 to 3. Since I haven't had it for a long time, I will come back to comment on its durability.
A simple plastic coffee maker. Nothing super wow but for its price, it's okay. It brews the coffee very quickly and I find that I need to use a little more quantity to have the same "strength".
