The stove as a construction is very good. It heats up quickly even on the one plate that I use, much better feeling of warmth compared to the air conditioner I used before.
Now, in terms of smell, yes, it does smell, but it is something you get used to, and I believe it has to do with the gas and not the stove. As for consumption, I don't have an opinion yet as I have only had it for a few days.
I come back almost two months later and I have to say that: it provides very good heat, it DOES NOT SMELL STRONGLY as I said before, but unfortunately, I had a small leak due to the regulator's gasket (it was not the stove's fault) and that's why there was a smell. Now, the smell is minimal and you only notice a difference if you change rooms. So, I have to say that whenever you CHANGE THE BOTTLE, check for leaks with soapy water (and not with a lighter!). With usage on one level and almost 6 hours of use per day, the bottle lasts about two weeks
What title should I give? Hmmm, I need to do a ritual to make it light up! That would be the title. There are days when we can't manage to light it up, I guess we're doing something wrong? I don't think so, there are very few cases where it lights up right away. It's as if the spark plug isn't working. It's quite annoying, and besides that, by the time you manage to light it up, the room has definitely smelled like gas. Let's say that at some point it starts with the first try... And still, the room will smell. Don't think it won't smell. Apart from that... It does heat up, I can't say it does a good job. With one bottle, we get 10-20 days depending on the cold, so I'm satisfied with its performance. If it wasn't for the issue that we can't easily and quickly put it in front, I would say it's a good purchase. Because I only saw good comments, it means that something is not right with mine.
30.01 It doesn't light up anymore, they told me from the company to remove the bottle, open it for a while, and then try again. We failed... useless.
27.03 Let's talk about it... Any bottle from Shell, the Coral gas Prime. The Prime doesn't smell almost at all! Along with the bottle, you should also get the pressure gauge, they will give it to you at Shell. To light up this damn stove, we got a lighter from the big ones that has a tube in front like a straw, and we use that to light up the stove because with its own spark it's useless.
Very good choice, you can adjust the temperature as you want with 3 options, it starts up very easily, very practical and easy to use
The stove itself does not smell, it depends on the LPG you will use. At first, we bought from one store and it smelled a lot, then we bought from another store and it did not smell at all. We are very satisfied with the stove itself.
I bought the product from CHROMODOMI and it really worths it.. I have to say that all the employees were excellent and I thank them very much!!!!!
We bought it on 14/12/2023 from a local store. They also provided us with a bottle of coral gas with its own valve, which cost us an extra 15 euros. It also has a gas consumption meter so you can see when the bottle is running out!
The stove is excellent! It lights up with the first press, heats up quickly, and doesn't smell.
(It smells a bit when you light it, which I consider normal for all gas stoves, but if you light it near an open window or door and leave it for 4-5 minutes, then it doesn't smell at all). Despite our initial doubts about the purchase and whether it's worth the money, it definitely is. I would highly recommend it!
The stove heats up quite well on the second and third setting, while on the first it simply maintains the temperature in a 40 sqm living room. It has a strong smell, which you only notice when you leave the room and come back in! When you're inside, you don't notice the smell! Sometimes it turns off by itself and it's a thermostat issue! It's necessary to buy a new one! There's nothing else like a radiator, as an extra heating method it's quite good, I don't know how it compares cost-wise to an AC but I think it's a cheaper way of heating!
I have it for a week. It is installed in the living room.
With closed windows, you can't sit even for a joke. It smells too much. I have put a bottle of Coral Gas Prime.
It is effective in heating the room where it is placed (50sqm living room). It has a slight smell, but it is not bothersome. I cannot evaluate the consumption yet. However, it loses a star mainly because sometimes I have difficulty lighting it.
I found my warmth quite lovely.... far away from DEI (Greek electricity company)... it lights up instantly with a touch.... I use Coral gas and it is flawless, it hasn't smelled at all, not even from the first use... no comparison to air conditioning, the stove is much superior... I would say it easily competes with the radiator in terms of heat... it warms the air without drying it out.... far away from DEI
One year that we have it, we have no complaints. It only smells during ignition, which I believe would happen with any gas stove, and when the bottle runs out. It is a very good choice, it quickly heats up the space and most importantly, it immediately breaks the humidity.
Very good performance although expensive, it works fine, the bottle is Coral gas, it doesn't smell much, the connectivity plays a role and it heats up quickly. I don't have much experience with it, I got it this year and I have been using it for 10 days, I haven't changed the bottle yet, I think I would easily get another one if the price goes down a bit, it would be even better. Of course, I got it for main use because there is no chance I will use oil again.
Let's start with the basics...
It is unacceptable for this stove to be sold at twice the price it was a year or more ago.
I have purchased three stoves, the first in 2019 and the latest in 2021, with purchase values ranging from €55-€70.
No matter how exceptional they are, any value above €70 is PURE THEFT!
Very good solution for economical heating. It quickly and effectively heats a 35sqm space with poor insulation, and if placed in the right spot inside the room, it can transfer some of the heat to the adjacent area. It consumes one 10kg gas cylinder every 7 days with approximately 6 hours of operation per day on the third setting. As for the smell, if you use a propane cylinder, it doesn't smell at all, neither during ignition nor during operation, and it costs the same as a regular gas cylinder. The build quality is good to moderate, but it is durable. It is recommended to change the rubber supply hose once a year for safety reasons, as the manufacturer suggests. Also, always tighten the connection well when installing a new cylinder and check for leaks with soapy water. I give it 4 stars because despite the relatively moderate build quality, it is a very good value for money.
The stove is fine. I bought it about a month ago. It doesn't smell except for a little at the opening. I use the EKO bottle with €19.50. So far, I have only changed one (economical use for several hours a day on the first setting). Overall, I am satisfied... only the lighter sometimes doesn't light up on the first try.
After a little adventure because it arrived with a broken tile (the service was communicative and fast), I put it into use.
The stove smells. A LOT. To the point that if you don't have a window open enough (not just a crack), you can't breathe. Therefore, it doesn't matter if it heats or not - because by having a half-open window, the whole point is lost.
The room is just as cold as before, you only get a little warm while sitting in front of it, and you have spent a bunch of money.
0/10 - Stay away, just wasted money
Cheap construction quality, you think it will break if the bottle is attached and moved. It heats satisfactorily, but unfortunately the space smells very quickly. The adjustment button gets stuck many times.
Very good stove. Especially now with the snow it did a good job. With frequent use and sometimes on full power, it lasts about two weeks. It doesn't smell too much. Maybe a little when opening.
The stove is disappointing. It lights up for about 2 hours and then goes out. It requires the door to be open, so you have to open the door and the window, letting in the cold, and it only works for another 2 hours. It is truly USELESS. Only for outdoor use
After 1 year, during which it operated for 3 months, the lighter broke and the stove became useless. I wasted my money.
Heats up the space quickly, turns on with the first and second level, while it takes a little longer on the third. Beautiful construction, although when I bought it, it arrived with a dent on the front. Nevertheless, it works well so I didn't return it. It is necessary to always have the balcony door slightly open because otherwise the smell is bothersome in a closed space. I don't know if instead of Butane I could use a Propane bottle that doesn't smell... as they say!!
Excellent stove, I have it for main heating in a studio apartment. I combined it with a 10kg Coral Gas Prime bottle for safety reasons, along with their regulator with the pressure gauge. It remains to be seen how it will perform during the cold winter, but for now, I am satisfied.
I have it in a 3x5 room. The stove is worth the money. It doesn't smell. When I light it, I use a lighter gun ** because if it smells, it will only be in the area where a lot of gas is released and then the smell lingers for hours. Yes, I recommend it for a small room. It doesn't require ventilation in the room as they say, and personally, it doesn't smell at all and it doesn't turn off by itself.
Good and affordable, but for some strange reason it turns off after an hour and a half of use and takes about 30 minutes to turn back on... no matter how many times I try
I bought it according to the reviews I read that it doesn't smell. Personally, I have the gogas bottle and the gogas adapter-regulator (I mention this because it plays a role). I am very satisfied because it didn't smell initially and the most important thing is that the gogas bottle has a 5kg content, so you don't think about moving the stove wherever you want. Now, in terms of quality, it's quite good and everything will show in the future, of course.
Nothing special, compared to the Italian Laminox, which of course costs twice as much, but is superior in every way. It smells like both coral and natural gas. It burns with a full tank and doesn't easily move. Performance is mediocre. I would never buy it again.
I bought the stove a few days ago and what I like is that it doesn't smell of gas and it produces heat. I don't have an opinion on consumption yet and the construction is average. Not very sturdy but considering its value, it is good. Overall, I am satisfied so far
I haven't had it for long, I will try to come back. It seems to be well made and its price is much cheaper than others. The comments on Skroutz helped me decide to buy it as I had no previous experience. For now, very satisfied. What was also important for the purchase was. 31/10/22 I got rid of it. I can't stand the smell of gas.
