very good ink flow and writing with the replacement Parker inks, it does not perform as well with a refillable ink cartridge
The first few days it wrote very well.
Afterwards, it stopped writing.
I enjoy writing with a pen, and I wish you could tell me what I need to do to make it work again.......
My first pen. I bought it about 25 years ago.
Stainless and sturdy construction.
I have written many kilometers with this one, dropped it, mistreated it, but it still holds up! Madam!
Very good for its price, from a globally renowned company.
I have this pen from the mid-90s, about 30 years ago! It is the perfect pen to carry with you, to sign any necessary documents or for a quick note on the go. It writes cleanly and is not great for freehand drawing, but for its intended purpose, it is quite good! The balance is somewhere in the middle, maybe slightly towards the tip, which is positive. The weight is perfect, not too heavy but not too light either (keep in mind that very light pens or pencils perform better for freehand drawing!). So, for a pen, it has a normal weight and proper positive balance. The grip is slim, which may not be liked by everyone. Personally, I prefer slim grips over thick ones, even if they are more comfortable, because I have more accuracy in making cleaner letters. This pen is not designed for writing for endless hours. For such use, I would choose a Pentel Energel instead of this pen. The design is simple and functional. The feel of it is obviously not cheap, and even though it is made of stainless steel, which you can tell by the weight (although it is not heavy), it still gives the feeling of aluminum, definitely a unique feeling for steel. The reason is the finish, which is quite satisfactory for the price. I really like that it holds more ink than regular pens. Finally, the clip is sturdy and convenient to use. It goes without saying that I would recommend it, as it is a Parker pen, one of the best brands in the world for pens and writing instruments. Many consider it the best!
P.S.
Personally, I prefer Japanese pens, like the Pilot V5, Pilot G-TEC-C maica, or Pentel Energel, all in 0.5mm tip size, because they are the only ones that make my handwriting much more beautiful than any other pen I have ever tried! But for a gift or to add a touch of modern gentleman style, I would definitely choose the Parker Vector!
