If you want to protect yourself from voltage fluctuations, get a voltage stabilizer. The purpose of this specific product is to burn out from a surge voltage (surge), that is, from lightning, instead of the device getting burned.

For maximum protection, you also need a surge protector in the main power supply panel and proper grounding. It does not protect against voltage fluctuations... I have had it for 8 years

Did you find this review helpful?Quality single outlet adapter. The surge protection is based on a fairly good circuit with two Varistors and a thermal safety cut-off at 250V 5A 145c. It also has an LED with a green indicator that shows there is power, and from what I understand, in the case of overheating (cut-off), it will probably turn red.

The only practical difference between the 2 models, apart from the color that I managed to identify, is the dimensions. The APC Surgearrest PME1WB-GRs are more compact (smaller dimensions).

I am quite satisfied and so far I have not encountered any problems. The pros are:
- Small compact device for easy installation.

Update (3/21): After the uninterrupted and continuous power outages - with the recent bad weather we had - the protector is doing its job perfectly and protected the smart TV, which was brand new.
Update (8/21): Well, after the major fires in my area where not only the power was cut off, but we were literally in a war zone, the device fully protected the television. Of course, for safety reasons due to the situation, I unplugged the entire Apc device from the socket, but it performed its job admirably with the continuous voltage fluctuations we had.
