  With a 27cm sole, size 42-43 came "exactly", with perfect fit.. they need to be worn a little to take the shape of the foot (indoors for a few days with double socks) but they are very comfortable! If your job allows it, you can hold them a little and have a dremel, a cutter... you open the holes on the side that are already designed and ventilate the feet... (as a pastry chef I don't have to deal with frying pans and oils so I'm not afraid something hot might fall and get inside)

  In conditions of a tough kitchen, it indeed tackles the floor dirt... but it also sticks to the floor, by far having the best slip resistance compared to any other, even if for X reasons you haven't cleaned it, it continues to work properly...
  Cleaning it: indeed, it's a bit of a hassle to clean underneath, the trick is to put them in a basin with warm water + dish soap to soften the dirt first, and then scrub it with a relatively hard carpet brush inside the basin and it cleans - I believe this is the price for the safety it offers you everywhere and always!! Whether it's oils or water/sauces/fats/grease, etc., it never betrays you.
  In terms of comfort, it's also top-notch, I have wide feet and I consider it superior to the "known brand" + insoles and special soles for it (total cost of 200 Euros!!), its weight is also crucial for tough kitchens. Get good socks and never compromise on high-quality socks, especially when it comes to long hours of standing.
