ION Cocoa "Dutch type" is the classic pastry ingredient of exceptional quality. 100% natural product that gives every dessert and drink the genuine ION enjoyment.

Cocoa is the dry and partially fermented fatty seed of the cacao tree. As a powder, it is made by grinding cocoa seeds and removing the butter from the bitter solid pieces. It is one of the richest foods in polyphenols. It contains high concentrations of flavonoids and procyanidins, components that have antioxidant action, inhibiting the oxidative action of free radicals. What draws attention to cocoa from a nutritional perspective is its high content of minerals and trace elements, such as magnesium, copper, manganese, iron, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc.
