Really a waste of money. I spent 20 euros on cables to connect a cheap 450W power supply, but because the power supply is garbage, the cables were heating up and the power supply was making strange noises. Also, when I was using the graphics card with loads of 60% and above, it would immediately shut off.
Based on the ratings, the 450W should have been enough for this specific set-up, but unfortunately, it is only suitable for office computers and not designed for use in a gaming computer (clearly evident due to the lack of pci-e cables for the graphics card).
I ran the card at 50% of its performance for a few weeks and then I bought a "Cooler Master Elite NEX 500W" power supply for 43 euros through Skroutz, which not only provides all the cables and supports graphics cards with 2x8 pin pci-e cables, but is also silent and of higher quality from a reliable company with an 80plus standard rating.
I should have bought a new power supply from the beginning instead of wasting my money on these so-called adapters.
My advice: if you're looking to run a high-performance graphics card with these cables, it's better to forget about it. The cables will melt, the power supply will blow, and you'll end up damaging something. It's a fire hazard and a big risk (see Nvidia and melted connectors from the 4090).
If you want it for a 1660 or generally low-performance cards, it might actually work for you. Especially if you need 2 of them, forget about it because it's a fire hazard and a big risk (see Nvidia and melted connectors from the 4090)
