They are very good shoes, comfortable. I wore them for hunting and at work during winter. I bought them for 180 € 8 years ago. The sole wore out from a lot of walking. I will buy the same ones again.
Although it is very subjective and difficult to make a review for shoes, what I can say with certainty is that these specific shoes will satisfy even the most demanding.
Positives:
- Very good construction quality
- Warm
- Slip-resistant
- Waterproof
- Durable
- Excellent internal and external lining
- Perfect fit on the foot (especially after 1-2 weeks of breaking in)
- High-quality laces
- Extremely comfortable walking
- Especially suitable for mountains and climbing
Negatives:
- Only their price, they are expensive, but if someone can afford them, they will be worth every penny
They are truly waterproof! They are lightweight but withstand tough conditions. If the company provided better insoles, they would be perfect.
P.S. I use them for hunting and agricultural work
I bought this specific shoe in 2011 from Germany for 240€. After 9 years of use in mountains, on both good and rough trails, as well as long hikes in deep snow, I can say that they are worth their money. This year, the sole finally detached and they wore out, but I can't complain because they lasted.
I ended up with this after a lot of searching mainly on foreign sites. The things I was looking for were how waterproof it is and its durability. I clarify that I have worn MEIDL, CRISPI, GRISPORT, SALOMON, and LYTOS. So after a year of use, here's what we have. First of all, they are beautifully made and the quality of construction is very high. I have used them for agricultural work (mainly olive picking) and I have not noticed any wear and tear, not even on the laces. As for waterproofing, it is by far the best. For me, the most difficult waterproofing test is the intense morning dew and this boot performed excellently. In terms of comfort, I think it is a notch below CRISPI mainly and SALOMON, which, however, were not made of leather. As for their durability, I mentioned it above. I should mention here that the soles of the MEIDL came off after a year, while the CRISPI performed better, "holding on" for almost two years.
