While the steel does not fade in that specific area, there is probably a material flaw! Quality material, nice feeling in the hand, and secure clasp.
I tightened it a bit (did the job with a needle and pliers) but my wrist falls somewhere in between sizes, so now it's somewhat loose. If I tighten it one click more, it's too tight.

Some initial problems with the clasp (it didn't secure well) were solved with a drop of WD-40 on the spring mechanism of the clasp. After almost three months of use, it remains unchanged.

In the package, there is a special tool to remove the pins, remove the pieces you don't want, and put the pins back in. Be careful, remove "slices" from both the right and left sides to keep the clasp in the center.

I don't have a huge wrist, but it fit perfectly after removing some "links" from the chain. For a male wrist, I consider it impossible not to fit properly after removing a sufficient number of "links". A special tool for removal is included, which I kept for future use.
CAUTION, strength is required.Also, to attach the watch to the metal frame, you use a special rubber band that is included in the package. It includes 2 bands for miband 5/6 and 2 bands for mi band 3/4!

Did you find this review helpful?Excellent quality, high security so that the mi band 6 never falls - you place it from the bottom side with a rubber band that is included in the strap packaging (it also has a second spare rubber band) and thus the band cannot go anywhere since the strap must be removed. Moreover, because it goes from below and touches the sides of your hand, the side irons from the strap provide some extra protection to the mi band 6 as they are almost at the same height as its glass.
Update after 4+ months of use
It still holds up well, adjusts very easily by adding or removing links, its color has not changed at all, it has protected the Mi band 6 countless times from possible scratches since it is slightly lower than the strap and it does not cause any allergies on my hand even when I sweat due to environmental heat!
