Turn on your smart lights with a simple motion. The Hue motion sensor with battery power can be easily installed anywhere in your home.
Add a Philips Hue motion sensor to your smart lighting system to turn on the lights when motion is detected, so you can move safely inside your home.
The built-in daylight sensor of the Hue motion sensor detects if there is enough daylight so that the lights do not turn on until you need them. If it is still too dark, adjust the light sensitivity of the sensor from the Philips Hue app to choose when the motion sensor will be activated, according to your preferences.
The motion sensor for Philips Hue smart lights is battery-powered and operates wirelessly, allowing for installation anywhere inside your home. Place it on a shelf, mount it on a wall or ceiling with just one screw, or place it on any magnetic surface using the provided magnet.
With the Hue motion sensor, you can adjust the lights that turn on and their intensity according to the time of day. At night, set the motion sensor to gently turn on night lights that will guide you in the dark. During the day, activate the clean white light and illuminate your spaces.

It is very easy to install on a very small metal surface (even on a small nail), with a very strong magnet. It does what it promises, it is a motion sensor - not presence, temperature, and brightness (which are taken as parameters during setup).
Attention: it does not integrate with the Google home/Assistant system - it is not recognized as a device! {The Google system now recognizes the sensor, so obviously it can be integrated into the system and automations can be created - I have not tried it yet!}
It can work with Amazon Alexa - which recognizes it along with Philips hue lights. 2 With the Hue application, so it can only work with Philips hue lights.
