I have both. The authentic (retail, with packaging) and the imitation (supposedly bulk, in a bag).

The imitation:
It broke after less than 10 uses.
It has very low sound intensity. It's hard to hear the other person and you almost forget about the music.
I was always told that I couldn't be heard well during conversations.
The cable is inflexible.

The authentic:
It works perfectly. No issues.
I can hear and be heard comfortably. Clear music, with better (but you could say it's average) volume.
It has a plug that doesn't stick out too much from the phone, a flexible cable with a sticker with CE etc. on it.

  Purchase made on 2/8/22. It didn't work at all. Returned it. I don't know if it was the product's fault or the connectivity with my phone and computer (I tried it on both). Anyway, it didn't work and I won't go through further procedures. There are other companies in the market. From what I saw, they don't offer any special warranty for such cables.
