Gameplay only the shoot system has changed and now you have to aim the ball. I personally like it but there are many who didn't like it. MyTEAM is still a casino. Did you find this review helpful?Unfortunately, I got it with a friend as soon as it came out mainly for the mycareer mode, which we had played a lot in 2k20, and I immediately regretted it.
The game is really indifferent. It has very small changes, which could have been done with just an update. Apart from the shot meter and a small change in three-pointers, there is nothing else.
Now, as for Mycareer, it is one of the worst in recent years. The story is good, but only up to a point. The neighborhood only changed location. The build system is a complete failure. Basically, you choose between the tall (paint beast) and the short (shot creator). Everything else is simply bad, or at least cannot stand up to the aforementioned. So you end up getting bored from the first moment, constantly seeing the same builds.In general, DO NOT get it, it's not worth it. Many people are still playing 20 and many are even going back to it. It's better to save money for the next gen and not for a simple gameplay update.

Did you find this review helpful?Having put all its weight on next-gen versions this year, 2K decided to release 2K21 as a new title in the market, even though in terms of gameplay, graphics, and game modes, it's essentially the same as last year. The only change to justify the title as new is, in my opinion, an unacceptable new shooting system, without giving the option to play with the old one (which I hope will be provided with an update, as the overwhelming majority of players do not prefer the current system) and a new story for MyPlayer. I don't need to go into more detail about the game since it remains a good game, at least for the single-player modes that I am interested in, but if you already have 2K20, it is not worth buying this particular title unless you find it on sale for 10-15 euros or less, and even then, only for those interested in playing MyPlayer or MyTeam. To conclude, I highly appreciate the stance of Konami, which announced that the new title of PES2021 will simply be a season update at a lower price than usual because they want to fully dedicate themselves to building the next-gen title. 2K could do something similar if they wanted to be honest with the fans of the title for the current-gen. The lack of competition has ultimately caused significant damage to the title and its evolution. See you next year!
