Placed on a 2015 Toyota Auris and did not require a CANbus adapter. However, as someone correctly mentioned in the comments, the bulbs must be installed vertically so that the LEDs face right and left, in order to avoid large dark spots in the beam of light. I am very satisfied with the color temperature, as it gives a more modern and contemporary look compared to halogen bulbs. I gave it 3 stars though because I would have liked the bulbs to have more watts to illuminate a bit brighter. I cannot express an opinion on durability yet.
Very good bulbs, but be careful, they need to be turned vertically so that the LEDs face right and left in order to avoid casting shadows like in the photo. It has an Allen key to adjust it
I also fell for the Led, Hir2 projector, but in the end, I bought a very high-quality Xenon kit from abroad and it is far superior. I also bought a warm light to see in the rain.
I installed them in my 2013 Toyota Auris but they are a complete disappointment. The beam of light they produce on the road has many gaps, resulting in poor visibility at night. It's as if the bulbs are nonexistent in some areas on the road. I imagine you won't see anything in the rain. I am completely disappointed with the performance. The first photo is with the regular bulbs, the second with the LEDs. I also installed them vertically as some suggest, and the photo shows the LEDs installed vertically. It has a base and it's good to adjust them, but it gets worse afterward. You should get LEDs that are perimeter-based, not just left and right.
Durability over time, no, after a year some LEDs turn on and off inconsistently.
