The Savio Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is an uncompromising combination of top quality and low price. The specially designed "double injection" keys have been combined with the reliable Outemu switches.
The Tempest RX is a TKL (tenkeyless) keyboard, which means a tournament keyboard without a numeric block with a total of 87 keys.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The best and cheapest keyboard I have ever bought. I have had it for a year and a half with at least 3 hours of use per day for gaming, and it still works like new; for example, a Razer keyboard I had already had 2 keys that didn't work. I tried it with red switches, so it only has red color (the only downside to this keyboard). If you want RGB, there is another version for 29.99.
Attention. The keyboard comes with Outemu BROWN switches, just the backlighting is green, with some standard effects.
For the price, it is very honest, if I ever needed to buy an economical keyboard again, I would probably buy the same one again.
The outemu blue I got has a very good key feel, which makes the characteristic "click" without becoming annoying.
Note: the keys are not RGB, but only light up in blue, which is why I removed one star.
Update 11-01-2025: After just 8 months, its cable has started to not make good contact. As a result, I often need to wiggle it a bit for the keyboard to function, so minus one more star.
In one night, in less than a month, the LEDs on 70% of the keys died (the entire right side, the top row, and the 2 bottom rows). The keyboard is practically useless. Complete disappointment. Stay away from this one. And of course, never again with LEDs and other nonsense.
Flawless except for the fact that the LED on the 'M' button stopped working.
The keyboard is very good, especially for the money it costs. It was purchased for 25€ three years ago and it still works without any problems. According to whatpulse (a program that counts how many times keys have been pressed), the keyboard has typed 1,500,000 keys without showing any issues. However, I replaced it with another one from the same company (savio whiteout) because the blue switches were tiring me out and I wanted a 60% keyboard with RGB lighting.
***I would like to mention that if a switch breaks (obviously from misuse or spilling drinks like orange juice that would cause the switch to not respond), it is possible to replace each switch!!! Many people seem to forget this in their reviews! Unless, of course, you manage to break the PCB, that's the only way I've had a mechanical keyboard fail and I've changed many... So, in order for a mechanical keyboard to break, you really have to want it, it's not possible otherwise...
For its price, it is excellent! I got the version with the blue switches, very nice feedback/typing experience, clicky and enjoyable sound. However, the cable is a bit short so keep that in mind. (For those wondering, the packaging does not include a keycap puller.)
In less than 2 months, some keys are already not working. I am waiting to receive WD40 for electrical switches to see if something will happen or if it's just garbage. The keys are not the best, with a lot of noise, and the caps are not the most stable. The good thing is that they come out easily to be cleaned, the bad thing is that sometimes they come out too easily even when you don't intend to.
Taking into consideration the price I got it for (around 30 euros), the keyboard is excellent. I have had it for a year and a half, and so far it hasn't presented any problems. I didn't expect such quality of construction at this price. The metal plate underneath the keys gives it weight and stability. I bought it for writing long texts, and the immediate conclusion from the first test was that a mechanical keyboard helps you write much faster and more comfortably.
Well, having the keyboard for a few months now, I can say that it is worth its money and more. It is very convenient and I use it for gaming. I have no complaints, it is definitely value for money. Get it without hesitation.
This particular keyboard is the first mechanical one I have purchased. Generally, I have no experience, but I have been completely satisfied with its use for the past 2 months. I got it with Outemu Red switches. The touch is incredibly nice (presumably the same as other mechanical keyboards), very responsive and of good quality. Even though it is one of the cheapest in its category, it is not a coincidence that it has such good reviews.
The fact that it is tenkeyless is very convenient because you don't lose the feeling and don't get confused with the distances between the keys if you come from the classic full-size keyboards. Also, it fits perfectly in a bag, even in a smaller size. Because it is quite tall, I needed to get a small wrist rest because after a lot of typing, my wrists would get tired.
With my experience so far, I think it is a very good and economical choice at the same time.
I have had the keyboard for a year and it has not presented any problems at all, truly incredible quality.
The brown switches have a better feel than the red ones and less noise than the blue ones, so it's probably a better compromise, especially for an office. In terms of quality, there is no problem, in fact, the surface of the keyboard is metallic under the keys and not plastic. It has many other effects, but for me, what stands out is the ability to turn off all the LEDs, lock all the keys, and choose to only turn on the desired keys. 5 stars
Very good construction. Every euro you spend, you will get it back and more. It hasn't given me any problems in 3 months, but I am careful with it.
At first, everything was good and nice. I could see the keys clearly and they were the right size, especially the shape of the Enter key, which I mainly use for typing. Over time, I started noticing that sometimes some keys were unresponsive, but I thought it was just my imagination because I type quickly. The E key, which I had noticed before, no longer lights up and the LED doesn't work. I emailed the company twice through the contact form on their website and didn't receive any response. Disappointing. I don't have the box to return it to the store, so I'll see what I can do, but having a burnt-out LED because the keys have a dark profile on the letters is annoying, you can't see the letter at all.
Great for its price! It's worth it.
Nice budget brown switches, average plastic keycaps, and not particularly well-lubricated stabilizers, but overall, for the price, it's super!
One negative is that its USB cable is not detachable and it's somewhat short.
Very good keyboard with nice clicks and feel, but after 1.5 months the E key broke and many times it doesn't respond. But for 30 euros, it's worth it
I just received the keyboard. I got used to it immediately. The keys have a perfect feel. However, I will give it 4 stars because it doesn't have different colors. Specifically, I purchased brown switches and I only have the green color (brown switches/green color, red switches/red color, blue switches/blue color). I will update the review in the future. That's all
I got it for the browns in order to reduce the noise from the cherry mx blues I had until now. It seemed quite sturdy at first and for the first 3 months there was no problem at all, but now the A key registers extra keystrokes - it doesn't register the keystroke immediately. It's cheap enough that I can't be bothered to send it back to the supplier for warranty inspection
Update: In the first year, 3 keys broke. In order to be able to use it, I replaced the broken keys with keys from the corresponding row of the keyboard (because each row has a different key profile) that I don't use often (e.g. Scroll lock, Print screen, etc).
It's great for its price. Everything works perfectly 5 months after purchasing it. The only issue I had was that the sound from the switch springs was quite loud. I solved the problem by using a small amount of lubricant spray directly inside the switches, without detaching them first. None of the switches had any issues afterwards and the sound and feel of the switches improved significantly.
It's not bad, but in terms of quality control, it's a mess. It came to me with 2 buttons that don't light up. It works on an Asus desktop PC, but not on a Raspberry Pi.
First experience with a mechanical keyboard. Conscious choice of brown switches for mainly programming use. Good feel of the keys and switches. HOWEVER, within the second month the backspace started to become unresponsive and within a few weeks the keyboard was useless.
Very good purchase for 30 euros. Comfortable and fast. It makes some sounds from the springs when you release certain keys abruptly, but overall it's fine.
I have bought it for four months now with daily extended use, with Outemu Blue switches at the price of 25 euros. It is sturdy with a metal base, the length of the cable is fine, and the cable quality is okay. It is satisfactory for me that it does not have RGB and only has one color. It doesn't mean anything to me at this price, it is very commendable, and to tell the truth, it doesn't remind me of a 30 euro keyboard, neither in feel nor in build quality. I have nothing else to say, I am completely satisfied. I will update if anything changes
I have had the keyboard for two weeks now and it has left me speechless. The build quality is quite good with a metal plate underneath for satisfying noise when using it. The only downside I found is that initially, it does not have Greek characters on the keys, but personally, I don't have an issue with that. Additionally, the length of the cable is average, and I mention this because in my setup, the computer is not on the same desk but on another piece of furniture two meters away from me.
Other than that, it is very sturdy with nice feedback and good quality for its price [I bought it for 30 euros].
Also, something I didn't mention is that it has a nice weight that gives it the feel of keyboards that cost twice or thrice as much.
Very satisfied for now, I will return for any potential issues
All year I had blue, and now I'm getting something that makes less noise for the first time. It is very good and worth the money 100%
I have tried the blue switches which are the best for me due to the feedback. I highly recommend it
