As for the installation, it definitely requires attention to be done by someone who is handy, as if it is installed crookedly, then the pin will move up and down with difficulty, and be careful NOT to use the screws provided, buy screws that do not have a protruding head. In conclusion, I believe it is the best option available on the market to make balcony doors and windows (opening and sliding, not overlapping) burglar-proof, unless of course they break the glass...
