How to get it on the first try (theory-practical-exams) and real driving' that you hold in your hands is linked to the long-term personal effort initially of Apostolos Bougatsas, a graduate of an economic university, and subsequently of Ioannis Bougatsas, a Mechanical Engineer from TEI, so that you have in your hands the most comprehensive manual-guide for informing candidates and licensed drivers to date. The collection of material began in 1986 when Apostolos Bougatsas, coming from Canada, founded the first driving school in Marousi with his associates and based on Canadian standards, where he started teaching theoretical lessons, at a time when no one was teaching theoretical lessons, not only in Greece but also worldwide. The reactions of fellow instructors were discouraging, but we continued our effort because they were very effective in practical learning, so in 2000, the mandatory teaching of theory in all vehicles was imposed by law, and we were vindicated for our effort. The reason for organizing theoretical lessons started from the need we felt as teachers, for the sake of transmissibility only, to inform candidates about some basic knowledge required (mechanical engineering and traffic education), in order to effectively proceed with the practical training of new drivers or retraining within the car.
