It is exactly what I was looking for for the kids. The padlock is made of metal and appears to be very durable. Inside, it has a plastic container, something like a drawer. The lock and its mechanism are made of metal. It has 2 metal keys for the lock. The combination button needs to be turned to a specific position in order to open the door (the construction inside is made of plastic and requires some caution).
