Prime
The ASUS Prime series is expertly engineered to unleash the full potential of the 3rd generation AMD Ryzen platform. Featuring a robust power design, comprehensive cooling solutions, and intelligent tuning options, the Prime B550 series motherboards provide everyday users and DIY PC builders with a range of performance options through smart software and firmware features.
VRM Heatsink and Thermal Pads
Two massive VRM heatsinks with thermal pads underneath them improve heat transfer from the MOSFETs and chokes for better cooling performance.
System Cooling
The Prime B550 series features comprehensive cooling controls that can be configured via the Fan Xpert 4 software or through the UEFI BIOS.
Each header can dynamically reference three thermal sensors. Fan Xpert 2+ allows you to map the temperature of supported ASUS graphics cards to optimize cooling for GPU and CPU intensive tasks.
A dedicated PWM/DC header for standalone water cooling setups.
A dedicated integrated circuit protects each fan header from overheating and overvoltage.
Each onboard chassis fan header supports PWM and DC mode.
Storage
PCIe 4.0 M.2 up to 64 Gbps
The PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot supports up to 22110 and provides NVMe SSD RAID support for incredible performance boosts. Create a RAID configuration with a PCIe 4.0 storage device up to 64Gbps to enjoy the fastest data transfer speeds on the 3rd generation AMD Ryzen platform.
Connectivity
The numerous USB ports support high-spec equipment loaded with peripherals, including a USB Type-C port and a Type-A port with fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity for compatible cases.
Aura Sync
A well-tuned system deserves a corresponding aesthetic. ASUS Aura offers full control of RGB lighting with a variety of functional presets for RGB LED strips connected to the integrated RGB headers. And all of this can be synchronized with an ever-growing portfolio of Aura-capable hardware.
Armoury Crate
Armoury Crate is a new software utility designed to give you centralized control of supported products. From a single intuitive interface, Armoury Crate allows you to easily customize RGB lighting and effects for every compatible device in your arsenal.
The software also provides control over settings for ASUS products, including keyboard and mouse preferences. Armoury Crate even features dedicated product registration and highlighting to help you stay connected with the ASUS community.
SafeSlot
SafeSlot is the PCIe slot redefined by ASUS and designed to provide superior retention and shearing resistance. Manufactured in a single step using a new insert molding process, SafeSlot integrates reinforcing metal for an inherently stronger slot, which is then firmly anchored to the PCB board through additional solder points.

I bought it for 122.47 on 03/07/2024, a good price I think for its type (casual user, without many demands), now I see it cheaper at 110-115, so even better for anyone wanting to buy it.
If someone wants a decent, quality, and vfm motherboard for the latest AMD processor from the 5000 series, I think it is a suggestion worth considering for purchase.
It is full value for money at the price I paid..~120€.
It has all the ports on it and supports updates for everything and speeds. Only the internet speeds that gradually increase and it goes up to 1gb..not bad we still have a future for these speeds...
Somewhere I had read that it doesn't fit well in all cases, or something similar, but that's not true.
