Good build quality, and combined with three stakes, I believe you don't have to fear the wind, as well as that it will last longer over time than common umbrellas!
It was combined with a 30-32mm pole and stood its ground even with quite a bit of wind! Comfortable for 2 adults or 3 children, it protects very well from the sun. For more people, get the 2.2 m. I got the fuchsia and due to the color reflection, I looked like I had tanned of course :DD
Quality very good worth to take it no relationship with the common cheap umbrellas that break easily you give this money and you are set for many summers
It is the second one I buy. I use it simultaneously with the first one that was purchased 3 years ago. The use is not everyday. So far, I am very satisfied.
3rd time I used it, the height adjustment stop broke, without any misuse, just poor quality materials.
In general, for beach umbrellas, it is necessary to purchase a sturdy one for resistance to wind. Therefore, it is better not to spend all your money on buying a simple umbrella that will not withstand the wind.
Beautiful and elegant umbrella for the beach, especially if you were looking for something very light in weight (1600g). In size, it fits relatively comfortably in the car. Its fabric case is beautiful. It covers a tall person if you want to take advantage of its entire shady surface. It is also adjustable.
The negatives of the umbrella: the price of the small weight is the "fake" construction of it from plastic parts of the frame and the seams and fastening are from "weak" threads (see photos). That's why I think it won't last over time.
Therefore, I would recommend it only for occasional use and not for daily use at the beach, it is almost certain that it will not last over time...
update (22/07/2024): So, after a year of careful and moderate use, as it happens to other users, the plastic Stop that adjusts the height of the umbrella, if pressed fully into the locking position, is ready to break. So, a nice umbrella, very light, elegant, but unfortunately with materials that do not last even a year...
Tremendous build quality, size is very good for 2 folding loungers with 100% shade. I use it, of course, with the corresponding hammering stake and together they have withstood gusts of wind up to 7 Beaufort!
Awesome purchase, worth its money.
I also bought 4 hooks, 4 screws, and a little rope, all together worth 4 euros and it doesn't move at all.
Anyone who has been to Elafonisos knows about the wind, but it didn't move at all for me, of course I also bought the hammer.
They may cost altogether, but they are worth their money.
I will not write anything about the quality, size, shade, etc., as these have been pretty much exhausted in previous comments. What I will write about is the size of the umbrella when CLOSED, which I think is not adequately commented on, and I consider it useful to comment on.
Its length is around 110-120 cm, and it does not fit in the trunk of a city car. Maybe diagonally and slightly upright, but it will take up a lot of space.
However, in a VW Polo 2015, it fits exactly by slightly lifting the rear headrests between them and the trunk shelf (see photo). We are always talking about the 1.9m umbrella and NOT the xl 2.2m, which only fits inside the passenger space, definitely not in the trunk.
I was going for the larger one but didn't... get the smaller one.
I hope this comment proves useful.
Have a great vacation
It seems like a good case. I bought it on sale for 26 euros, a reasonable price without the hammer because we usually go to the beach with sand. Today it's windy with a force of 4-5 and it hasn't moved much at the base. Time will tell, but it seems to be well-made.
We had a good summer. With many winds in general, and except for one time when I couldn't set it up correctly and it kept coming out, it didn't bother me again... for the 26 euros (which is not a small amount), it seems worth it as it will likely last for years
One of the best purchases I have made. With a peg system from a well-known toy store, it screws into the beach and doesn't go anywhere. Enough shade for 2 people and it withstands the wind thanks to the ventilation duct, I imagine
A very good quality umbrella that has satisfied us for 2 years without any problems. They could have included a set of stakes to better reinforce the umbrella when it's windy.... otherwise, it takes it as it is, which is logical
Bought for €22 on sale at the beginning of August. Well-made construction and materials. In a 2 Beaufort wind without a base, it doesn't move due to the ventilation it has. Beyond that, in combination with a base, it is unbeatable at this price.
It needs an additional accessory for the sand, otherwise when it's windy, the wind takes it away. I would like it a little bigger for shade. It is for two people. Nice construction.
Usually, you get what you pay for!! Very satisfied with this purchase. We had a problem-free summer. As for durability over time, only time will tell... the samples so far are encouraging
I replaced the bottom part with a hammering stake. I also have 2 pegs for good and for bad. Flawless use, I recommend it, especially with the way I use it.
With closed eyes, for its price it is value for money. First use and we encountered strong wind (along with hammering stake) it didn't move, didn't bend, the poles didn't turn, nothing. It fits up to 3 people in these dimensions.
Eventually, we encountered even stronger wind and it turned the poles around, but we turned them back and it didn't have any issues, therefore the product is perfect!!!
The best umbrella along with a 30-inch telescopic pole! If it fit in my car, I would immediately get the next size up, which I think is 2.10 in diameter
In combination with the Hammering stake, it doesn't go anywhere. The shade is very good and you feel real coolness from underneath. With the tilt, you can protect yourself during the movement of the sun and counter strong wind. I highly recommend it.
update: after the second year of use, it remains like new. It was tested in stronger wind and had no problem. If I had a rope to secure it with the plastic receptacles it already has integrated, I wouldn't even need to look at it in strong gusts.
