I used it to extract olive oil from a large (25-liter) tin. In the first use, it pumped but with very low flow. The same thing happened the second time. And unfortunately, those were the only times it worked. The next times, it sounded like it was working, but no drop came out. I cleaned it, tried it with dish soap, and it worked again. But with oil, no... It seems that the viscosity of the oil makes it difficult. If you want it for other liquids (water, milk, juices, etc.), it might be okay.
