Did you find this review helpful?I have it for a short period of time and I haven't used it enough times to have a complete picture.
Positives: It heats up very quickly, straightens from the first pass (as long as you pass relatively slowly, not like combing your hair), it is relatively lightweight (but not cheap plastic), it keeps the straightness for days even with humidity. I tried straightening my hair and going out on a rainy day and my hair was perfectly straight without frizz, even though it usually frizzes easily. I expected it to lose its shape and the plates to deteriorate a bit with all the humidity and rain, but it didn't. I believe it can also be used for curls, but I haven't tried it as I never curl my hair. I love that it has a comb and you can comb your hair first before straightening it directly, and a big plus for me is that it comes with a heat-resistant mat that also serves as a case.
Negatives: I have noticed that the hair doesn't "glide" as easily between the plates compared to all my previous ones. The comb, as useful as it is, if you're in a hurry to straighten your hair and don't have time to comb section by section, it definitely pulls the hair, but you have the option to remove it completely.
Regarding the question of whether it damages or burns the hair, I can't answer with a yes or a no... personally, I haven't seen any differences in my hair, but I also use a heat protectant cream and I haven't used it more than 5-6 times. The more frequent and higher temperature use, there will definitely be more damage to the hair, not only with this one but with all straighteners

This one somehow pulls my hair as if it doesn't glide between the plates. It takes 3 passes to straighten them completely and it also doesn't leave a shine on the hair like others do when you run your hair through them. I wouldn't buy it again.
