The AC8 is a dual-band gigabit wireless router, specifically designed for families with fiber optic access. Equipped with gigabit ports to support bandwidth access up to 1000 Mbps. The dual-band provides a frequency of 1167 Mbps, fully utilizing the gigabit fiber optic. This router is equipped with a 28nm 1 GHz CPU to deliver better performance. The built-in dual-band technology combines both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one Wi-Fi name. The 5 GHz frequency band is set as a priority and the fastest signal frequency will be automatically allocated to you by the dynamic optimization system. Newly designed 6 dBi antennas meet the coverage requirements for small and medium-sized households. The AC8 also supports automatic broadband account transfer and other functions.
Designed with full gigabit ports, it supports bandwidth access up to 1000 Mbps, the dual band provides 1167 Mbps access, fully leveraging gigabit fiber.
Equipped with Realtek 1GHz Core CPU, 28nm craft, performance improved by 40%, perfectly handles all data streams and offers a smooth internet experience.
The built-in dual-band technology combines both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one Wi-Fi name. The 5GHz frequency band is set as a priority, and the fastest signal frequency will be automatically assigned to you by the dynamic optimization system.
Designed with 4*6dBi dual-band external antennas, combined with Beamforming signal tracking technology, the Wi-Fi signal is concentrated into a beam directly towards the users' device to ensure the best possible experience.
Automatically analyzes the internet environment, automatically optimizes the Wi-Fi channel/bandwidth, avoids interference, and provides stable optimal performance.
The IP address is randomly assigned by the operator. It is difficult to be attacked by viruses. Also, the AC8 simplifies data transmission, which will reduce processing time and latency, providing a better gaming experience.
Changing the router, can't remember the account password? Are the new routing settings complicated to install? The AC8 is equipped with the latest account password migration feature, just connect the WAN port of the old router to the LAN port of the AC8 and automatically copy the broadband account password when the power is turned on, eliminating the hassle of setup settings.

This specific router is provided for free by the provider I am currently with for Fiber To The Home connections. In terms of speed and stability (with cable), it is quite good (as long as it works), while for WiFi connection, I would say it is average. However, in the last week, after a little over 2 years of use, frequent disconnections started occurring until at some point the connection was lost indefinitely. Eventually, the problem was with this specific router and it had to be replaced with a new one of the same model. It is the first time that a router fails on me, especially in such a short period of time.
Edit: After less than a year of replacement, the second router broke down in exactly the same way. Eventually, I bought another one at my own expense in order to find peace of mind.
Very good router, it was amazing, I had it for 3 years, it had great range and I could configure everything. I had 16 devices connected simultaneously and over 20 devices connected at the same time, and it never had any issues. But unfortunately, one day it burned out.
Easy to set up. Both bands work fine with a cable. For the repeater that I connected, it will only work with a 2.4 signal
Whatever is most useless in a router, in case you bought it for a smart home with 16+ devices, congratulations, you messed up. It will work for an hour with everything, and then it will start disconnecting (experience from two devices, as they replaced my first one thinking it was faulty).
Also, I should mention that the remote management app it has only works in router mode and not in AP mode.
Wonderful software, I have never experienced such good software on a router until now, however its range is not good.
Perfect. I connected it yesterday and it filled the house with a signal of 100 square meters. I will come back after a month. It loses the signal, while it shows full mobile signal in the remote areas of the house, it doesn't load easily.
It covers up to 85-90 square meters. Unfortunately, the extender I had remained in place to cover another room. In terms of functionality, installation, and application, everything is excellent.
After a few months, it started losing the signal it used to catch as a repeater
