We received it as a gift when the baby was newborn. He would sleep on his own with the melodies from 15 days old. I didn't turn on the stars, of course, because I thought it didn't make sense at that age. Now, at 7 months old, he looks at the stars and falls asleep every night with the melodies. It has a cry sensor, a button to turn on only the stars, a button to turn on only the music, and volume control. Personally, I use it at low volume and it's okay. I haven't changed the batteries yet. It works perfectly with the ones it came with originally. The only thing that might bother someone is that when it turns on with the sensor, everything turns on together, meaning the melodies and the stars. For example, someone might not want the light to turn on in the middle of the night so as not to fully wake up the baby, but isn't that what it's supposed to do? The baby stares at them and falls asleep. Whatever the case, it does what it promises. It lulls the baby to sleep. And not only that. Countless times, the melodies put me to sleep when the baby was newborn and I couldn't sleep due to stress. I had bought a cloud projector from a well-known company and it simply annoyed the baby incredibly. There is no comparison to this Chicco projector.
When she was a baby, she didn't care much about it, but after the age of 2, it seemed very useful to us. Its music lasts about half an hour and it is a sufficient time for the child to fall asleep.
Our baby doesn't pay attention to its melodies and clearly prefers the crib mobile that also has movement. When it cries, it has a sensor and turns on by itself, which is useful especially at night when the light turns on. In general, it serves us as a room light, something that we could find in a more economical product if it hadn't been given to us as a gift. The batteries have been changed once in six months, maybe because we have completely lowered the sound and the light turns off after a while. Perhaps our baby will appreciate it more later.
It looks good... it has melodies.... the lighting in a dark room is fine.... but I can't get enough of the batteries.... I have ordered rechargeable ones for it.... let's see...
Excessive intense light for the child, annoying even for me when looking at it directly. But nevertheless, it does not have a corresponding intensity in capturing the stars in space. I expected it to be much better.
After a week of use, it doesn't work!
But it's also very expensive for its price.
